Seacliff Inn Aptos, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

I was traveling with my dog, so was not able to use the pool or hot tub, but I found the room to have everything I needed. The bed was comfy, the TV was easy to figure out, wifi easy to connect, I liked the soap, tissues, lighted mirror, there was even a steamer in the closet. The temperature was also easy to adjust. My only complaint was the nightlight in the open sink area lit up the room when I wanted darkness and there was no way to turn it off. I had dinner in the restaurant and found the outdoor seating area by the fountain to be very pleasant. Staff were helpful. The location was also convenient for my scoping out nearby beaches. I would return to this hotel in the future! They have two EV chargers, but only one was working and it needs a new cover.

Bath tub faucet in king accessible room didn’t function. Needed to awkwardly fill tub with shower head.

Beautiful location

It was a nice quiet area with safe parking and a security guard that was constantly walking around the property. I felt that the photos online were a bit misleading and that the property is a bit more dated in person but I still very much enjoyed my stay and would stay again. The biggest downside for me was that the wifi was not very useful.

Cared for, beautiful water features and koi, amazing meals in the restaurant. Great live music and wonderful mix of locals and guests to talk to at the bar. Friendly staff.

Don’t get the breakfast vouchers, it’s not a buffet and you can only use it for one meal type for all the days that you are staying there.

This is a cute hotel, the food was good. It has a nice pool and for the most part was clean. However, the cleaning staff is TERRIBLE! We came back to our room after being out for the day to witness one of the housekeepers coming out of the restroom after using it. Our entire room smelled of her bowel movement! I was so upset and the front desk was absolutely at a loss with what to do. They also don’t stock enough towels, wash clothes in the rooms. If the room is booked for 3 then, there should be enough towels, wash clothes for 3. We asked for more and took over an hour to bring more.

The lamp between the beds as well as the charging outlets didn't work. I texted with the timing requests, and staff showed (despite requests) while I was in the shower. Three more requests, no repair. An otherwise good experience was very colored.

Ideal location.

I was denied a receipt for incidentals even though it was charged separately from the Expedia reservation. Otherwise it was very nice and the food in the restaurant was very good. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Be aware there is no elevator to the rooms. I would stay there again, if I can get resolution on the mystery charges.
