The pond, bridge, waterfall area. Mature trees. Having outdoor sitting area with comfortable chairs. Rooms looking at parking lot. Deferred maintenance. Landscaping needs updating.Much of it looked in need of replacement, needing infill of flowering plants. Live music was too loud and intrusive in outdoor dining area. No slippers and no shower caps or eye makeup remover pads.

Second floor requires bags be dragged up steps, so quiet rooms come at a price

The staff were all helpful and friendly and we had an overall great stay. The pool and spa were lovely, breakfast was amazing, and even our two dogs enjoyed the stay very much thanks to the staff accommodating our request for a lower floor room. We will definitely stay again!

Front staff was friendly and very pleasant. Fast and easy check in and out. I loved that the room had 2 full bathrooms. Very loud doors, especially in the morning when trying to sleep. You can hear everything EVERYTHING through the walls. For the price, I would think to have doors that close quietly. The microwave in the room was also the loudest I've ever heard in my life!!

This was our first time staying here. Very clean and quiet. The restaurant was also delicious and the coy pond was very entertaining.

The highway noise was annoying as our rooms faced the highway. The nightlight in the bathroom was so bright had to stack towels in order to block the light. The shower had virtually no water pressure so was unsure if shampoo was out of my hair. Beds were comfortable and balcony was nice. Didn't use the pool or hot tub or restaurant or bar, but nice amenities. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Don't like the restaurant, it feels cold and the food is so so The daily cleaning crew only left 1 bath towel.

My wife and I had stayed here before, this time was a little disappointing as soon as we arrived at the room 212 we detected the very strong odor of smoke I immediately called the front desk several times and no one answered the phone, I decided to walk over to the front office on the way I ran into Carlos one of the maintenance workers, I tolded him about the situation and he returned to spray the curtains and carpet. It helped but once the air conditioner went on it got worst agsin, my wife has asthma it was and it was very hard to see her consistently coughing and it was my 70 birthday weekend that was spoiled by a smoke room, I did complain to the young lady at the front desk who comped our 3 days of parking this was a very expensive weekend for 2 seniors trying to enjoy a quiet weekend , can someone help me please NELSON GRAVES SR KAISER SAN LEANDRO BUS DRIVER.

Traveled with family for moms birthday and such a beautiful property, really like that they have a full service restaurant and bar so don’t have to leave to go else where. It was great weather so nice that they had pool and hot tub.. each room has a nice view with garden string lights at night. The koi pond surrounding the bridge was an added bonus for the kids and adults. Safeway and gas station are in walking distance and beach is not too far.. would definitely stay again in future❤️

Also there is a parking fee. Overall it's a nice property with open spaces makes you feel like you have your own place and not a hotel room. However because of the room readiness issue i've never experienced anything like that!

The hotel itself is a great property. The kids loved the pool and hot tub and the restaurant on site was delicious. It was pretty expensive for one of the bed sheets to have a tear in it and the bedding itself was pretty loud, so every time someone twisted and turned in bed we heard it. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

The room was clean and stocked with all we needed. The staff was so helpful and polite.

Convenient and clean hotel close the beach and easy freeway access to everything else Santa Cruz has to offer. The staff was very friendly and patio at the restaurant was very peaceful. We have stayed there several times and find the freeway side buildings to be extremely noisy. The light coming through the door at night was a bit annoying and the daily charge for parking was a surprise and seems unnecessary. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Towels were not replenished the second day. We were given complimentary bottles of water when checking in, and that same water was $3 ($5 for Fiji water) in the room. . Why charge for water? Seems petty. Not our favorite place in the Santa Cruz area but we will probably stay there again due to the location.
