Poorly managed Room services not good. Washroom smells lika hell.

that it is close to Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor, which we went to both this weekend and hence why we needed the hotel room. where should I start? they don't make you sign anything at check in or out, which is odd to me. there were also NO TOWELS in our hotel room and when we asked for some, they were "out". I was told theyre all in the dryer and would be for another hour. the hotel itself is a very old structure. beds are small and not the most comfortable and it took hours for the AC to cool down our room. shower and bathroom area is small and neighbors were very loud early in the morning. breakfast needs more options like fruit, bagels and the vending machine costs you a $13 transactional fee if you use it (we did not, I recommend getting your own drinks and snacks at a gas station).

Very close to the area we needed to be Where would I start? Roaches , stained comforters , piece of tape on blankets, wholes in curtain , breakfast area - trash everywhere from cups , batter all over counter by waffle station , warm milk for cereal

We took a chance on this location because of its proximity to Six Flags Over Texas. Sadly, we will be taking our business somewhere else. Bedding was stained and filthy, our remote didn’t have batteries. We went our whole stay without bath towels. There were no bath towels available, only hand towels and when we requested bath towels they said they didn’t have any and would try to have some provided for the following morning which we never received. Our room had some soap available but empty shampoo bottles which we still don’t understand. The hotel could do a better job of monitoring the inventory they use for their rooms/customers. Staff wasn’t very helpful and the facility wasn’t very cleanly.

Superb

Our shower door didn't shut properly so the bathroom floor stayed wet, and one of the bathroom lights would sometimes not come on. The only hot things at breakfast were waffles and coffee.

Only redeeming aspect of this property is proximity to Six Flags. Property is poorly maintained and in desperate need of update, hallways smell like an old fish tank, rooms don't appear to have been updated since the 80's with small, squeaky beds, closets and drawers that are falling apart and bathrooms / showers that need significant repairs. Continental breakfast gives you about $1.50 of value but property has signs requesting that no food be taken to your room, basically because there is next to no effort to clean any part of the property. Simple things like sheets and towels are hard to come by. Property does not perform daily basic room checks like towels and trash services without request and even then often doesn't happen without multiple requests. Room key cards consistently fail and have to be reset by front desk making frequent use of the worlds slowest elevator unavoidable unless you want to venture to the stairways which consistently smell like an open sewer. When visiting attractions in the area stay anywhere else.

Pretty quiet and clean may have to recheck housekeeping on the cleaning somewhat but other than that it’s good I like to stay here to get the rest I need and great location
