The Arlin, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel by Marriott

She noticed my birthday was the previous day at check in and wished me a belated birthday, and then when we got back from our concert around 10:30pm she was waiting on me to give me chocolate covered strawberries. There was several small acts of kindness given to us in our short 1 night stay. That being said, I will ALWAYS book here when I go to Arlington. 1000/10!

Rude staff, cancelled my prepaid suite. I had no place to go ruined my vacation.

Still remodeling. I remember when this hotel was The Lamar. Very nice everything. Staff was helpful. Check in was a breeze. Quiet. Convenient. Clean room. Available parking. Reasonable rate.

Well they say they have a pool and hot tub they didn't because of upgrading. When we called to ask about it they said yes pool ECT is available. It was not there. The front desk knew nothing about the trolly service to take you around to six flags and ball games. Both matter we were repherd to the city of Arlington. The room was somewhat clean and smelled like burt plastic.

This was a great stay, overall. I traveled with three kids, 8-14 and they loved the room. We booked a one bedroom suite and the door between the beds and the living area was very appreciated and served us well. Unfortunately, the pool is being renovated and moved outdoors, so we couldn’t take advantage of it, which would’ve helped with the kids, but overall, the property is clean, and amenities like the mini fridge are appreciated. There is a microwave on the first floor, but not in the rooms. The area is in the middle of attractions, but was still quiet and safe. I also appreciated not having to pay for parking. The trolley is also an added bonus that took us to the stadiums for free. I would recommend and we’d definitely stay again.

Lots of construction and main amenities were down. Summertime with no pool was a bummer.

Hotel staff was awful. Sarcastic and lazy. Would not recommend.

Stay was ok. Very nice staff. I could swear they advertised a pool when I booked room but there is no pool, use to be. Room was warm but maintenance was quick to respond. Bar under construction but they had make shift bar in lobby. Place has potential just lots of renovations going on.

Really nice facility. They are doing renovations, but it didn’t interrupt my stay. Friendly staff and close to where I needed to be.

Was very disappointed . There was construction in the building , I was going to sleep in because I didn’t sleep well, the room was hot when we got there and took several hours to cool down . The pool was closed & to be demolished . One of the reason we picked it was to swim . The beds were terrible , springs or just wore out mattress , not sure what it was . Very disappointed .. that I was not told or sent message about construction , no pool . And we came back Sat evening the temp was hot again ! Should have at least got a discount . Room was clean, omelettes were very good. And the name was changed , thought we were at the wrong location at first , name on outside had been changed !! But I was never told or send that information . Disappointed Expedia did not contact me . Not sure I will use it again .
