The staff was so kind and always smiling and acted as though they were grateful to be able to help with anything we asked for/about. The room was so cool and we loved our stay tremendously. It was also very conveniently located to everything in Arlington yet once you entered the property you didn’t at all feel like you were right downtown amidst all of the sports facilities and six flags and the busy interstates and highways.

The room was lively and clean, the grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed lounging in the courtyard. Breakfast was great and all staff were pleasant and helpful. Thanks for a great stay!

I went for the Spain Portugal World Cup game at the Dallas Stadium, and I’m so glad I found this gem. The hotel is only 15 min walk to the stadium, which save time and money on transportation. And the hotel has a lovely free shuttle to and from the stadium if you don’t want to walk. You can request it anytime you want. The rooms are individually decorated and themed with famous composers. My room The Brahms was spacious and gorgeous. The windows face the courtyard downstairs and it was magical when the sun comes through. The beddings, sofa and bathroom were clean. However there were some corners that needed more regular cleaning. The lamp had some dust on it, and the drawers of the coffee bar were a bit molded. The best part of the hotel is the courtyard and the secret garden. They are beautifully constructed and well maintained. There were birds, squirrels and butterflies in the garden. It was a scene from fairytale. The staffs were very helpful. The front desk was accommodating to all my needs. The restaurant staff were so considerate. They prepared breakfast for me even though I’m late. They packed food for me to take to my room before they were closing the kitchen and gave me some extra muffins I loved as snacks. Van who operated the shuttle were there for me to go to the stadium and the second I was ready. It’s a pity that I stayed for only 2 days.

We had a great stay. Went to the Dallas Wings game and could walk to the Stadium. It is a 20 minute easy walk. Parking and sit down fixed breakfast are included and this makes for a frictionless experience. The food was very good; chef takes special pride in his dishes. They have a very nice brunch on the weekends and the bartender can craft you a special cocktail if you tell him what flavors you are looking for. We are from NOLA and this was a great choice for us.

We found this gem while thumbing through the "Select Registry of Distinguished Inns of North America from 2010. This place is fantastic. We chose this Inn to celebrate out 44th anniversary. There were two other couples celebrating theirs also. We booked the Mozart room as the other rooms and cottages were taken. The decor takes you back to the turn of the 20th century as it was designed to do when it was built in the late 90's. There is a superb breakfast served. The Inn houses its own 5-star restaurant with a cozy included bar. From the moment you walk in, the first-class staff make you feel welcome and wanted. The Sanford Spa is directly across the street from the front door, and we partook of the couple's massage. The grounds around the property are carefully manicured into a fairy-tale garden. They have a venue for wedding and other events. We were initially received at the desk by Miss Annalise. Her smile and cheerful attitude were a wonderful first impression. The bartender Michael is delightful to talk to and is an asset to the crew. The staff prepared a special table setting for our celebration and we were taken care of by the most delightful server Michi. Sarah Reid, the Desk Manager is warm and most charming as she tends to the guests. I wish to point out that the entire staff of Sandford house are the quintessential of professionalism and courtesy. It was a wonderful visit, and we most strongly recommend this Inn. We WILL be back.

The entire staff from front desk to restaurant was exceptional! Briana went above and beyond to make our anniversary dinner special and the front of house manager Sarah was very attentive and professional. The food in thoughtfully prepared and each bite was delicious. Our dessert was a special anniversary plate which was beautifully plated. Our lunch server Michael was so nice and he made the best old fashioned my husband ever had!! Our breakfast host was friendly and helpful and the French toast was yummy. Each person we met from the staff was very friendly welcoming and made us feel very special. We are already planning our next visit. Also forgot to mention the Sanford Spa across the street! We had the most relaxing couples massage by Margo and Claudia!

This charming boutique hotel offers exceptional dining experiences and features beautifully maintained gardens and grounds.
-
oldish place but felt quite elegant. shower hot water lever needs some work, but hey, its oldish.
-
The house and our room were clean and warm (on a fairly cold day in TX). Check-in was quick and easy. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, toast, fried potatoes (a little on the greasy side) and fresh fruit. There are many restaurants within a short drive (which helps as I'm vegetarian). We came for rest and a massage and the whole overnight was very relaxing! Nothing really. A suggestion is to keep a.m. restaurant coffee in a carafe as you serve? It wasn't very hot when served and once i added a little milk it was warmish. But it didn't take away from our overall experience.

Beautiful nostalgic feeling. Very romantic but thin walls.

The hotel is quaint, and the room was very, very nice
-
The location for AT&T stadium is perfect. The grounds were amazing and so beautifully decorated for Christmas. The leaves could have been raked up, especially on walkways.
-
This place is a gem that more people should know about. We picked the best time to stay here as the ambiance was like a Christmas cottage. All we needed was cooler weather and some snow. Everyone was super friendly and very accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was like no other! You also have to try the espresso martinis! We will book here again in a heart beat!

The staff could not have been more courteous or professional, the room was immaculate and beautiful, and breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended, and will return.
