DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Augusta

Great room great staff and great hospitality 20 stars if I could I would definitely recommend and come back.

It need to be update some of the furniture need to be changed out especially the beds. Breakfast was good, staff was great, and it was clean. Other than that I would stay again.

Pretty much perfect. The only negative is housekeeping knocked on the door at 9am to see if we were still there, but checkout wasn’t until 12! They meant no harm, but it got us up and moving before we had planned to be.

Unless you don't mind run down and dirty hotels, do not stay at this hotel until after they complete their renovations. And even then, I'd be skeptical. My room was dirty, tub/shower was dirty, toilet room smelled like urine and I had to go out and buy shower shoes. I expect so much more from a Hilton property. Even though this hotel is in desperate need of an update, it was also just very dirty looking.

Staff provided excellent references for every thing we were looking for in the area.

Location served a purpose

No house keeping, breakfast needs to be paid for. Some staff un helpful, some staff very helpful, especially the head desk gentleman in the evening.

The property was clean. The bed was great. The safety latch that stops the door from opening made it hard to gain access to the room. The shower had no hot water. The water was lukewarm at best. The staff was friendly. The property itself is definitely due for some updates.

No one likes to write a bad review because you get a sense that it will effect local employment. An immediate renovation should help this property and their staff who have to endure the number of complaints that stem from the units. Here's the facts from my experience. If I would have seen any of the issues I'm about to state there's no way I would have booked at this property. When you see the Hilton Brand and Double Tree with amenities such as indoor pool and conference room and weight room, you assume things will be up to par especially at slightly above market rates. This hotel has an early 2000's feel when compared to others I've stayed within the same brand. When I first walked in I noticed a stench to the unit and requested to be moved to another unit. When I walked in that unit I noticed that that it was just the way their units smelled. So I decided to stay at the assigned unit. The second thing I noticed was a stain on one of the comforters. Since it was a double queen I simply used the other bed. The third I noticed was that the thermostat to the unit was broken so I had no way to control the room temperature. The maintenance guy came and couldn't fix.The TV also didn't work they cited storms. As a recourse they comp a night stay. However to add insult to injury it appears they double bill me. They charged my credit card the one I used to hold the property and the card I provided when they asked to hold a card for incidentals.

The entire staff was friendly and accommodating. All shifts were attentive to our teams needs. The free warm cookies were a plus. Great hotel accommodations and will stay here again in the future.

Horrible experience, nasty place and false advertisement. Rooms don’t look like the photos

Staff is always so friendly and helpful. I always feel safe and comfortable staying there. They are amazing and this is why I always stay there. 10/10 for this establishment

The hotel was nice, but the room was really old. They're about to renovate, which is way overdue. The hot tub was chipping, and the bathroom wasn't clean. After I cleaned it, the jacuzzi tub was perfect and easily fit three people. It helped me relax and eased some muscle soreness. The bed was awesome. The room had no exterior window, so no sun came through. I closed all the doors and slept like a baby, right through my alarms. The breakfast bar was okay. The pool and workout room looked clean. Overall, it was a good experience!

Upon arrival, the staff greeted me and my daughter with smiles, and they were eager to help. They gave us rooms right next to each other, but unfortunately, we needed to move due to an air conditioner issue. The gentleman at the front desk immediately sent maintenance to take a look and relocated us down the hall to another room with no hesitation. We took advantage of the lounge area, the food and the conversations with the other guests was absolutely amazing. My future visits to the Augusta area will definitely include Doubletree as a place to lodge.

The hotel was good but the outside pool was closed . And that was one mean idea of going there .
