It was a beautiful boutique hotel…the staff was great. Only con the sheets in room had a particular smell

We stayed for conscience. It was close to everything in Aurora. The inn is old so you have to give it some grace. Rooms are on the small side. We stayed in the pool wing which is not as nice as the other wing. Restaurant wasn’t open very good.

The staff were friendly. The bar very nice. The restaurant food excellent. We stayed 2 nights at what is advertised as a boutique inn at a cost of $425. It was a special occasion for us. The room was cramped. The one chair faced the restroom and entry door and didn’t allow for comfort. Though we requested the room be made up and fresh towels when we returned late afternoon it wasn’t. We picked up our own towels. There were no restaurants nearby and nothing available at the inn for breakfast. No coffee bar and rolls even.

The location was extremely convenient to the event we were attending for the weekend. Bathrooms are incredibly small.

We have stayed multiple times at the Aurora inn. Everyone there is always super nice. The rooms are comfortable, The pool is amazing and it is reasonably priced. It's a beautiful boutique hotel with lots of history. The restaurant is extremely expensive.

Updated look and nice restaurant

First impression when walking in was great—it smelled clean and inviting. The room was very clean,. The staff was upbeat, positive, and very helpful. The beds were a little stiff for my liking, and I was disappointed that the TV wasn’t a smart TV. Overall, though, everything felt clean, comfortable, and well maintained.

A very nice hotel. The staff are gracious & helpful. I use the pool it was great and the locker room was spotless. Ordered a cocktail and relaxed in the sitting area. The bar area is inviting,I choose to eat outside. The patio has a warm welcoming feel, weather was perfect. Nice menu with just enough to satisfy all tastes. I would highly recommend staying at the Arura

As overnight guests, without previous reservations in the restaurant, we were seated awkwardly on the patio. Nice clean room, lovely lobby area, historic homes and taverns in town.

I know it’s a very old hotel. It did have charm and the staff were very professional and nice. However, our deluxe king room was very small and it smelled old and musty. The tub/shower was not updated. There is no elevator, so be sure to ask for the first floor. There is complimentary coffee in the morning and a $10 voucher for each night’s stay. That is all of the amenities included. There is no complimentary breakfast. The restaurant and bar (9:30 pm) closed early on a Saturday night. The patio closed at 10pm. The restaurant/ bar are not open on Sundays or holidays. So the only food on these days is snacks to be purchased in the lobby. I would not stay here again. There are many better options nearby.
