Truly charming, "classic feel" century-old property with great atmosphere, great pool/sauna, helpful staff, and everything you want in a lodging experience. We can't wait to come back here!

This place was just okay. They tried to do an update on an old motel and it’s just kind of didn’t go well. The carpet is old and the rooms smell really musty. The paint and caulking etc was done halfway with rust and chipping all showing through. I didn’t use the pool so I can’t speak to that. The bar/restaurant wasn’t opened. There’s not much of anything close by. The outside was decently kept. No elevator so you must lug your stuff up the stairs and you can hear everything regarding other people staying because it’s an old property and not well insulated. The air must not have been working upstairs hallway because it was hot in the hallway. If you tried to turn your air unit down in your room the smell gets worse so you either are cold or you smell the carpet. Pick your poison. Wouldn’t stay here again. The young lady working the counter was not very informative and it was hard pulling straight answers out of her about the area. The parking is located across a decently busy street on a corner and it’s hard to see if cars are coming while trying to take your stuff to your car.

Beautiful boutique hotel close to main highways. Evening check in staff is amazing - truly makes the stay special !

Regardless of all that, there are two major draws here: if you like the cocktail hour or if you happen to be a lap swimmer, this place is a standout. The pool is especially impressive, and attracts swimmers from the area. The scene in the evening was quite lively. The “morning after” scene was a relative letdown: it appears to have been a business decision not to do much more than coffee in the lobby, which seemed a shame. Also, although there appear to be breakfast options nearby, there wasn’t a very viable way to reach them on foot. Still a pleasant surprise overall.

Accommodating staff!

Excellent location, very quaint and peaceful.

The room was terrible. There were multiple stains on the carpet and chair. The bed was broken. There was chipped paint everywhere. Very small room. The staff did not care. They said they would put a towel between the bed and wall so it didn't hit the wall. The room smelled like smoke. It was a terrible experience. Managemebt did not call me back. The front desk clerk did discount the room at check out but I would not recommend this hotel. There are so many nicer places to stay nereby.

The location, price and staff were exceptional. As a bonus the restaurant serves excellent food with phenomenal service. Having the record player in the room and a huge selection of records was a fun addition. The commercial washer and dryer in the lower level helped us immensely as we were on a long road trip. Perhaps higher quality coffee in the lobby. Otherwise everything was perfect.

Great stay, although short. Would love to come back and enjoy the courtyard, restaurant and pool.

Pool was very nice. No elevator if on second floor and rooms did not mask sound well so late and early it was hard to sleep. Hotel was clean, central to town and very friendly staff!

Love the friendly staff and family-friendly setup. We’ve been many times and look forward to it.

The pool was awesome. Loved the restaurant too. We had a great dinner!

Rather interesting structure. Parking wasn’t necessarily marked as such. No elevator, so it was a bit of effort for us septuagenarians to haul luggage upstairs. Bed was very comfortable.

Staff was very friendly and the whole environment was relaxing

Outside of that, incredible hotel!

It was very nice, however we arrived at 2 and were unable to check in before 4 pm (unless we paid a $50 fee for early check in). We opted to go directly to our event and dinner and checked in muc, much later. This was after several hours of driving to get there, it would’ve been nice to freshen up before our event. Lesson learned!

We loved the restaurant that is located in the hotel! And the staff was fantastic! Parking was difficult to figure out.
