Terrible

The views are great. The kids pool with a slide kept kids busy.

The property was clean and well taken care of. Anytime we needed anything. There were no problems with getting those things to us. The food was delicious. The staff was kind.
-
The only downside was the pool area. Guests would leave behind food, drinks, and cups, and they would sit there for a long time without being cleaned up. This made the pool area look dirty and uninviting, and the pool itself could have been kept cleaner as well. With better upkeep of the pool area, this hotel would be even better.

We had a great time! We will be back.

The only complaint is that rooms smell of old wet carpet

Restaurant food was not that great

Pools were fun

However, for a resort the rooms could use a bit of an upgrade and patios some cleaning. Found stains on the sheets and bugs in the room. Pool area was excellent!

However, the service (restaurant, bar, front desk - except for the nicest lady, phone help - which is a general number and won’t get you to the hotel itself) was poor, the mattresses haven’t been replaced in 5 years and are down to the springs, the mini fridge in our room specifically had black mold in it (and yes - we reported it and were told we could move rooms, but we had already unpacked. So we just didn’t use the fridge), the water in the room is either scalding or ice, the walls were lined in a mold-like substance in the crevices… It was just not living up to the expectations for the price. Also beware of the bottom of the pool - it will fully scrape up your feet and leave you torn and tattered. Regarding the food and drinks - the drinks are STRONG! Which at $16 a pop, I appreciated. Even when the flavor was subpar. The food - however - was a miss every single time. We waited nearly 2 hours for slider burgers and fries, were given the wrong sliders, but the parm truffle fries were the star of the show. At the sixty three restaurant, we tried to revive our appetite but were once again met with poor service, poorly made food that was warm at best. and that night the drinks were too strong to even attempt to drink. We spent around 200 on food and drinks for 3 days - not worth it.

Had a great time! Hotel smells really nice. Staff was excellent.

The staff is friendly and courteous. The accommodations and views of the lake are lovely. The grounds are well kept and are very pet friendly.

House keeping wasn’t great either — our call for extra towels was received, but forgotten. Had to search out the front desk to get some. And on the morning of checkout, they entered our room early, trashed our our food and other items and stripped the bed before we completed packing. It was weird, like “hurry up and leave” weird. We can’t comment on the restaurant since we skipped it, worrying the cost there would also far exceed the quality. But it always looked empty. I would return, for half the price, maybe. The Resort has its merits but charges a premium for mediocre.

Location was awesome for quiet and peaceful surroundings. Staff was extremely nice. Rooms and AC could be updated but overall very comfortable and clean room

There were a couple of minor areas for improvement. The hot water was inconsistent while showering, and some of the patio furniture—particularly around the original pool—was torn and could use replacement. Overall, these were small issues, and we had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Hotel is dated

Overall, the property was nice and had beautiful views of the lake. I would say it’s slightly outdated, but still a great local spot. We booked the hotel for my father-in-law who was visiting from Georgia, and it was a good fit for him. The atmosphere felt a little darker and more masculine, but overall the vibe was good. The pool was great for kids! Our children are all under 5, and we had a great time playing in the shallow areas. We spent about six hours at the pool during our stay. The drinks were excellent, although the pool food was pretty underwhelming. My biggest complaint would be that there aren’t enough shaded umbrellas for guests, and much of the pool furniture is worn and torn and could use updating. The towel system at the pool is kind of odd. They’re very strict about how many towels you receive and return. If a towel gets left at the pool and isn’t returned to the designated drop-off area, they’ll charge you for it. I don’t know—it just feels a little unusual for a resort. We’ve stayed at plenty of nice resorts and have never run into that before.
