The collection of tiny houses are surrounded by lovely trees. The environment is calming and inviting. The house we originally booked was not available when we arrived, but the house we did stay in was super comfortable and cozy. The restaurant on site is delicious!!

Nice bathroom. Comfortable bed. Clean. Easy to check in. No table. Lamp is the bedroom had no outlet to plug in to. Also no place to charge phone at the head of the bed. A microwave would have been appreciated. The grounds and pool needed better upkeep for the price.

Secluded but accessible, very nice touches around the property, comfortable sleep, great comms w host. I loved it! It was dark when I arrived on property and didn’t see that I was walking through the sprinklers on the way to my cottage. Not fun, but also lot the end of the world. I get that they keep it dark to keep the peaceful vibe and not pollute the air.

Quaint, quiet and comfy

The staff was kind and very attentive.

Nice grove. Needs more maintenance Booked twin beds. Got queen beds. One of them was tucked in some niche and looked more like kids bed so one of us ended up sleeping on the couch. They offered us , an optional room which had no ventilation and felt suffocating. Also, I didn’t see any tv that was promised in the order. The place definitely needs more maintenance. Blankets and sheets were nice. Overall, it was overpriced and the property looks much better in the photos

Just as the name suggests, this is a hidden gem right off the road tucked back into native texas landscape. Sparkling intimate pool, comfortable lounge chairs, delicious food at the properties charming restaurant, quaint cabins (beautifully appointed) great beds, perfect place for a getaway. Nothing

I wish the hotel would credit the interior designer, Kelly Moseley for exceptional work. I recognized it the minute I entered my room.

Cabins charming, beautiful pool, property well maintained, restaurant delicious and wonderful service. If you're looking for an escape to read, relax, swim and eat you've found it. Everything one could want is right there, no need to leave. nothing

Great pool, wonderful restaurant, grounds were nice lots of places to sit, cabins are wonderful, everything clean, attention to detail on the entire property. Road noise but difficult to correct.

One of the best stays that we have had in a very long time. Great service, incredible restaurant, and lovely grounds. We had a great time and will stay again in the future.

The property is unique and while close to the city, it feels like you are in your own world while at the Wayback. The cottage was well insulated and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and recommend ordering the breakfast basket at least once during your stay.
-
With only eight cabins, the Wayback was intimate, quiet, and relaxing. The owner made it a point to introduce herself and check in. The pool had an attached pool house with water and plenty of clean towels available which was very nice. However, there were few other amenities available there. You're prohibited from bringing outside drinks to the pool, but the bar is in the restaurant and there was no server to check on the pool guests.

Breakfast at the Cafe was superb. Everything on offer was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. For lunch I had the best tuna melt I have ever had! The rooms were understated but beautifully decorated and I had the best night's sleep in the pillowy soft luxurious bed. There could be some lower path lighting for nighttime since the paths are uneven.

Clean and beautifully decorated The cafe closed at 9pm which seemed quite early

The hotel was beautifully decorated and had a very cozy chic vibe.
-
There was no staff after 5 PM. Our air-conditioning took a long time to function.
-
No one there for service on a Sunday - pool was cold - would have liked to walk over for breakfast / coffee but not open on a Monday. Also right off busy street no where to walk to

Lovely setting. Quiet, private cabins with luxury bedding. So comfy! Very crisp and clean. Good Internet reception.Great hosts. We recommend. Bathtub is deep and slippery. Needs a grab bar. Coffee set up is convenient, but there was no creamer, either liquid or powder. Cute cafe has limited days and hours.
