Avon Old Farms Hotel

The hotel was easy to get in and out of. The property was beautiful. The pool was very nice. The mattresses could use a little updating otherwise nice rooms.

Expansive old school charm and elegance with natural creative touches and an unparalleled setting.

I complained because it sounded like someone was rolling bowling balls across the floor above us all night long. The staff did nothing to make it better. There was another woman in the lobby complaining at the same time and nothing was done for her either. It cost a lot of money to stay there and would have been nice if they acknowledged that things were not right.

It would be great to have fruit for breakfast . The pool was great , it was heated . I swam in the pool several times.

Room appeared very dated, bed linens felt damp (pulled out of dryer too soon), some faucet covers were missing, shower drain was clogged.

We enjoyed our stay in this old charm hotel in quiet area with great amenities. The seasonal pool was perfect to escape hot summer. The hotel is clean and offers free breakfast. Overall positive experience.

Very nice throwback hotel with beautiful grounds and large rooms.

Beautiful grounds to walk and enjoy landscape. There were two fire pits at night. I sat outside to meditate and listen to birds sing.

Nice room but the shower didn’t work. Happy to have an EV charger on site. Staff seemed disinterested in guests. Nonfunctional shower a real pain.

Nicely appointed room, a classic hotel feel, nice grounds surrounding property and outdoor pool.

We visited for a little Father's Day getaway -- mostly attracted by the outdoor pool. The pool was very large, nicely maintained, and there was plenty of comfortable seating and umbrellas available. The room itself was comfortable - a little dated, but overall clean and spacious. We were on the third floor towards the end, grateful because there was a grand piano in the foyer and some kids were banging on it... thankfully we couldn't hear it! We had a burger and a drink on the outside patio and it was a lovely evening. We wanted to see if we could have coffee on the patio in the morning, and were delighted to find an impressive all-you-can-enjoy Father's Day buffet available! We enjoyed the prime rib, shrimp cocktail, eggs benedict, cod with beurre blanc... and tasty mimosas. We had excellent service from Jeff and Eli, and vowed to return for Father's Day next year! Loved this place and will definitely be back.
