Bed was very hard. So were the pillows. Breakfast and so was the poil.

No hot water. Could not shower. Staff didn’t care.

It was such a great experience, the hotel was so nice and clean. Plenty of things for the kids to do. And we were able to walk to get ice cream after dinner.

She then told me that they “no longer honor reservations from Booking.com”.) I then asked if they have rooms available and she said “we are almost sold out.” My point being, she had almost no interest in easing my mind as to whether or not I was going g to have to pack up all of my luggage and my family and find another hotel. She did offer to call her manager and after thirty minutes we were on our way to our room. I very nicely asked if perhaps she would consider upgrading our room and her response was “you already have a one bedroom.” Let’s move on to the pool and hot tub. This hotel is in need of some TLC. It’s clean and the other front desk attendant was really nice (Tamika). But the beds are uncomfortable and the pillows are not the “Marriott” quality we typically see. Oh… and then there is the creepy local guy who somehow gets onto the property and hangs out by the pool bothering people. According to the staff, this is an ongoing problem. Overall, I was displeased with how they handled my reservation and I’m not certain they would honor someone else who booked through this app.

Good location, nice staff Our room smelled strongly of mildew… and trust my, i am not that guy who thinks black mold was created by the devil… I usually do not care but this was a smack in the face when eh door opened… also when i woke in the morning to get a shower, no hot water! My wife had taken a shower the night before and said she had to let it run a long time to get hot water.. in the am, no hot water after close to 10 min. The 3rd thing is the facility is clearly in need of repair and update, cracked sidewalks, broken doors…nothing terrible but we paid about 400 bucks for one night! By that measure, clearly this was not worth that kind of money… this is 120 buck max

Loved the 2BR suite with 2 bathrooms- great for our family of 4. The pool was on the smallish side but clean and heated. The hot tub was great! Kids enjoyed the gym as well

Great stay overall at the Avon Residence Inn! Staff were warm and genuinely helpful from check-in to checkout, room was clean and spacious with a great kitchen setup, and the hot breakfast was a solid start to the day. Property is quiet and well-kept. My only miss: the bed felt old — I could feel springs and it seemed slightly tilted to one side, which made sleep tough. With a mattress refresh, this place would be perfect. I'd definitely stay again.

Having said all that, it was clean and the bedding was fine, so it did the basics I needed it to do. I wasn't there for a vacation, after all.

Everything was perfect beginning with a clean and comfortable room, friendly staff - especially Taylor making sure our breakfast was fresh and exactly what we prefer.

The heat did not work. It only blew cold air. The toilet seat was dirty with dried pee. The back of the toilet had loose hairs. The baseboard moldings had an inch of dust and grossness. The shower ledges were not clean - also dusty. The carpet needs to be refreshed in appearance and scent. No shower cap. No bar of soap for handwashing. Never. Again. Food was midrange at best.

The staff was amazing! The location puts you right next to Dom's a local cafe which is an excellent morning stop. Also, take the time to check out the nearby Farmington Valley Arts Center gallery and artists studios. If you're a coffee aficionado, check out the Coffee Trade where they roast their own beans!
