Long story short if you want a room with fresh blood stains on the sheets from some “activities” by anyone in the area that could simply come and go as they please since the room doors are not locked. Maybe that explains the unusual amount of people just sitting around the property and the stairs. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else. The pictures and the listing have nothing to do with the absolute horror story of a hotel that is.

In poor condition near the homeless people at night. Did not expect that at all. Needs maintenance such as new floor, new paint, new bed, etc.. I wouldnt stay there again but it was cheap.

Overall the stay was quiet but we walk in the room their are roaches running around I killed 3 and the dresser they had was ghetto as hell busted, missing drawers

I stay here every time I come to Bakersfield. The rooms are clean and the staff is super friendly. They keep the riff Raff off the property so there's not a bunch of people hanging out here that aren't staying here. They allow dog which is a must for me and they have lots of places to walk your dog and even supply bags to clean up after your pup. The rooms aren't bad at all. Perhaps could be updated but it could be a whole lot worse. I enjoy staying here when I'm in Bakersfield and I would recommend it to anyone

The hotel was actually pretty clean and the front desk lady was really nice. The only complaint I will make is that the picture of the breakfast is very misleading. Their breakfast is simply cereal, waffles, and Tampico. The picture clearly shows they have more options than just that. If you’re coming because of the breakfast picture please go cheaper. You’ll have the same “Meh” breakfast experience you should save your money for. But the hot water is really hot and the A/C after 2 hours felt freezing cold which I do enjoy. Some hotels don’t have proper warm water
