Bangor Grande

The front desk person who checked us in was helpful and walked ALL the way to our room to try and get our television hooked up to the internet. It was a long walk!

All booked! So up on Saturday after 3 hour drive to say I did t have a room. They were both cancelled! It’s Expedia you need to call them. They are each blaming each other and we had to sleep in car with no apologies nothing. Nothing we can do they said you need to contact Expedia! Rude, ignorant and very useless!!

The staff at the front desk was super friendly. The hotel was very confusing to walk around, many hallways and stairs, we got lost.

Location was my main reason for staying there.

Place is dated but very clean was a great place to stay for a concert !

Staff was friendly. Close to airport. Clean. However, we booked this hotel mainly because of the free airport shuttle that was offered. Our first day, my husband returned our rental car but had to use an Uber to get back to the Bangor Grande because there was no one to drive the shuttle. However, we did have service the next day. So, the shuttle service may not be reliable. No coffee maker in room, no fridge and no free breakfast (although we were aware of this last point.) Restaurant on the premises was "ok" the next day for breakfast but could have been better. Stay was ok if you are just there for a night before your departure flight.

The staff was incredible. The building is older but they have worked to make it nice. Probably could use new mattresses. The shuttle is great.

There was also excessive noise outside in the parking lot through every night. It was disturbing so I never did get a good night's sleep. The people working were fine and polite, but constantly spraying air freshener to get rid of the mustiness. The photos on this site should be updated, they are currently not representative of this property. I will definitely stay elsewhere on my next visit. It's really a shame for the employees.

This hotel was great. It was clean the beds were comfortable and they had a FREE shuttle to the concert. Perfect place to stay!

We had an issue with the door lock that was addressed quickly by the General Manager. Everything was good

Hallways and entrances were not very clean. Rooms were ok, but a lot of noise from other people that stayed.

We stayed here one night on.our way to Canada. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable but a bit outdated.

The Bangor Grande was very convenient to Bangor Airport--the shuttle system was very efficient. The room was very good, the only issue was that the TV did not work and was unable to be addressed until the next day--but I was only staying one night.

I booked two rooms for two nights, but they were booked separately. When I checked in I told them I had two rooms for the next night they told me no problem they would look after it. the next day while out shopping we got a call that we had to come back and empty our rooms because of housekeeping and we had to switch rooms entirely. Plus they lost one of my rooms, we did get that fixed.

Place is a dump. Find somewhere else.

The only downside was that it took an extra hour for the room to be ready for check-in time.
