All the people there working were top notch. They were all very friendly even after a very busy couple days. The restaurant next door not so much. Very deceiving about the happy hr and eating there. Definitely we will stay there when we go back. Beds were very comfortable

Will definitely stay here again when visiting.

Nice pool and fire pits Not really walkable to town.

Very clean. Friendly, Courteous staff. Excellent location. Great outdoor area and pool. Small fridge without a freezer section. No chairs or small table to use on the balcony.

I found this room to be basic. It didn’t really look like the pictures and it was kind of outdated. Nothing special at all, but seem clean and the bed was comfy.

The staff is supberb. These ladies wear many hats. They are very pleasant to talk to and knowledgeable about the area. Our room was very clean and neat in appearance. The pool is awesome (crystal clear). They go to great lengths to make sure all travelers feel welcomed and comfortable. We will stay here everytime we are in Bardstown!

Upon driving up was not so sure. Quickly greeted by happy, helpful staff. (Sarah) Everything from beginning to end was great. Pool was warm and relaxing. Sarah was always around offering assistance, towels, ice, drinks, directions and suggestions for food etc. If ever back this way will def. stay again.

We stayed in room 23 and I did notice a strong musty small as soon as we walked in. When you pull up to the place it does look a little on the run down side. The flower beds have large weeds growing. That alone would make the presentation look better when first pulling up. Its a little miss guided when you first pull into the place trying to figure out where the office if located. Its not clearly marked on were to go. You have to go to the courtyard located in the middle of the building. The pool was down when I was there so I can not really rate it. I would not rate the stay based on that due to things of that nature happens and things break down. To break down the stay I would not stay again. The place is not worth the money spent. It would have been cheaper to stay in a budget motel down the road and get the same services and maybe even breakfast added in.

Fine hotel. Pool was closed due to pump issues so we didn’t get to experience swimming.

The concept is good, but the property is not well maintained. The room was very damp and musty. Feet were black from walking on floor. Pool did not work the entire stay. Small, flimsy curtain did not keep out light at night. Bed was comfortable and it is about 15 minutes walk (up hill) to town.

Checking in was easy, once we figured out the office was off the courtyard. The sign says "check-in kiosk", but it is an office staffed until 10pm. The young lady that ran the office was super nice and helpful. The Bardstown Motor lodge is nicely restored as a mid-century modern motel. We had a suite which was very large, by motel standards. The bed was extremely comfy! The living room area had a sofa, side chair, small dining table and 2 chairs, a wet bar with a sink and under-counter refrigerator. The area could be separated from the bedroom by sliding a barn-style door. Unfortunately, the bathroom door was also a sliding barn-style door (not very private). The bedroom had a coffee bar with a Keurig, microwave, and another under-counter fridge. Our suite had 2 doors-- one opened to the parking lot (we could park right in front of our room) and the other opened to the courtyard, which has Adirondak chairs and tables, picnic tables, a large outdoor fireplace, and some smaller, individual firepits. Very nice to gather your group or meet new friends. The pool was closed due to a pump failure, but the area was fenced, private, and nicely appointed. I would recommend to anyone who likes those retro vibes!
