Jailer's Inn

Staying at the Jailer’s Inn was a great experience! The staff were wonderful, it was comfortable, and breakfast was good. Enjoyed the brief tour they give of the property!

A very unique place to stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. I was able to park on the street in front of the inn most of the time. But one day the parking lot was full and I had to park across the street and thru a stop light. We enjoyed our stay. Carpets need to be replaced or cleaned.

The jail house is a cool drawl to stay, but here are somethings to note: thete won't be an elevator if you are on the 2nd floor. There was a window air conditioner right next to the bed, which would kick off after running a couple of minutes & wake us up, then off. The dungeon room was extremely musty smelling. The upholstery on the 2 chairs in the room was worn & dirty looking. The bed itself was fine. The shower was actually a square jacuzzi that you had to step up and over to get into. The 3 bright spots are the breakfast on the terrace, the jailhouse tour, & being right downtown with east access to resataurants & ships. Maybe the other rooms were upgraded better. Ours was a disappoinent for the price.

Breakfast was delicious! The host was so nice and entertaining while we ate.

Jailer's Inn was a great place to stay. While we were only there for a brief period of time, the Inn was well kept, and accommodating.

The Bourbon Trail with several world-renowned distilleries, is also close by. Paul, the owner, and all his staff were extremely welcoming. The breakfast each morning was delicious. Private parking is available too!! A definite place to enjoy Bardstown and take in the area's history. We will be back!!

Location is everything and this property is right in the middle of all the major things you want to do and can walk to everything. We will be staying here again and again.

NOVELTY INN. GREAT LOCATION. STAFF WAS FRIENDLY. Bed squeaked badly if you moved. Breakfast was minimal and not our preference. Lager palmetto bug in room. Room was warm.

The owner was fantastic. Always greeted you with a smile and friendly banter. You can tell he really loved his job. He was great at giving suggestions to local places.

Breakfast was incredible, the history was super cool to read through and my mom and I loved the jail cell room. We will be back haha!

Awesome piece of history that shouldn't be missed! I actually booked the wrong night, off by a week, but they were super accommodating! All staff were friendly and helpful! Will stay again if I get the chance!

We had a wonderful stay at the Jailer's Inn. The staff were amazing, the location couldn't be better and our accommodations were wonderful. I definitely would recommend staying at this fabulous Bed and Breakfast.

The breakfast was amazing!! The owner was very friendly and informative!! Interesting little piece of history. We didn’t like that everything in our room was run off of extension cords. We felt like it was a fire waiting to happen!
