Quality Suites Baton Rouge East - Denham Springs

The property was close to my event There are a lot of people that seem to be just loitering around. They may have to guest but it didn’t look appealing.

Indian man at front desk was rude. Not welcoming at all. Multiple men were hanging around outside smoking & drinking. My room had a string mildew wet smell and it was eye visible on the ceiling and walls. My carpet was soaked! Everything about my stay was horrible. Would no recommend

Friendly staff, good complimentary breakfast, pet-friendly and affordable, small pool, our room could use a little renovation but it was a pleasant stay. Great price, close to dog park, downtown, restaurants, stores. Would stay again.

Nothing Dirty falling apart & did not feel safe

Comment and affordable Check rooms prices to guest arrival. No smoke detector was concerning some what. Light at the door didn’t work. Vanity sink and tub made the room feel slightly unclean. But for the price paid what did I expect…. Not complaining

Everything is good

The bed linens were clean and the mattress was comfortable. No issues getting a good night's sleep. The ice machine is on the first floor behind the reception area. It was filthy to the point of being a health hazzard ... mold, mineral stains, and rust. We stayed away from it. The shower curtain had large mold spots on it; again, a health hazzard. Someone was shooting fireworks either in the parking lot or nearby. It didn't go on too late so we didn't mind. Breakfast was dry scrambled eggs, rubbery cheap sausage, a wafflemaker where the waffle batter sticks and comes out wet. Cereal choices, muffins, and bread for toast were all fine. Juice choices were apple and cranberry - they were ok. I hope someone who can address the health issues reads this review. It isn't intended to be mean, just some feedback.

Do not stay here - it looks nothing like the photos and I’m 80% sure my cc info is about to be stolen. So I’m changing numbers immediately. The gentlemen that worked the counter during check in was dismissive and rude and was contradictory in what he was saying and doing which made me feel hella nervous. The room - don’t even get me started- looked like it had seen some action and not in a good way - I was literally nervous to lay down in the bed- paint chipped walls bathroom had no hot water - you could literally hear the people next door CHEW their food - there was a dresser in front of the door that adjoined the rooms which felt unsafe - if I could have canceled and left I would have

Hotel has a beautiful inside court yard and an excellent breakfast selection

Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable but the water pressure was low but overall it was quiet.

Before arriving, I booked through Expedia using the “pay at property” option. While traveling from Arizona to Louisiana, I was informed that because the hotel was nearing capacity and my card had not yet been authorized, my reservation could potentially be canceled. This was incredibly stressful while traveling across the country with what I believed was a confirmed reservation. Upon arrival, the first room I was assigned had a live roach crawling in the bathroom. I was moved to another room, which was better, but it had no microwave. Towels and linens were also not consistently replenished, seemingly because the hotel was struggling to keep up with laundry while near capacity. Communication between management and staff was another concern. Management appeared unable to effectively communicate guest requests to some employees and relied on a translation app. My concern is not that employees spoke different languages, but that management lacked an effective system for communicating with its own staff. Finally, when I asked for help reheating leftovers because my room had no microwave, my food was heated with the plastic fork and plastic sauce containers still inside the box. While staff did accommodate my room change, the combination of cleanliness, supply, communication, and operational issues made for a disappointing stay.

The bathroom towel on the floor had several cracks in it. The floor in the bathroom was very slippery. The pool needed to be resealed It had lots of cracks and big holes along the pool side. The towels and the washcloths were very old and worn out. The Continental breakfast, the eggs was undercooked as well as the sausages..

Breakfast is gross.
