Bay Valley Resort, a Wyndham Hotel

Best hot tub and pool area. Room was clean and super comfy! I slept the best I have all year!!

Comfy beds and pillows, updated and attractive room. Pool was warm, hot tub is nice When we pulled back our sheets there were crumbs in the bed. Made us feel grossed out. We were offered a new room but it was later evening and didn’t want to move so we were given new bedding

Pool opens late and closes early so we didn’t get to use it. Door to room was hard to close. Definitely needs updating. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Overall, our stay was enjoyable. The facility is quite nice, the staff friendly and helpful, and cleanliness was very good. My only complaint is that our room had no hot water. Neither of us could shower in the morning because the water temperature was lukewarm at best - certainly not warm enough for showering, barely warm enough to even get cleaned up. I mentioned it to the front desk clerk at check out and she was apologetic but no alternative offered. So basically, tough luck, we’ll let maintenance know, hope you’ll give us a second chance in the future. Again, our experience was without issue, but the one thing that wasn’t acceptable left us with an unfavorable impression. I probably would return in the future; next time, I’ll check the hot water temp when I first check in and be more proactive if it’s not adequate. I would still recommend this place with that one caveat.

We never got any room service for clean towels and bedding or trash removal. It didn’t come with breakfast which would have been a big upper. Never had any hot water in the bathroom. We didn’t get told we got a game of golf on them when we got there which would have also been nice to know. It was ok but could have been a bit better with the extras known to us and taking care of us more

The staff was very kind, helpful and informative. It does not come with a complimentary breakfast. You have an option to pay for breakfast but you pay by tge person. At the rate of the room I feel like a complimentary breakfast would make sence. Our room also did come with a bathtub but it did have a large walk in shower. Everything in the room was updated and the room was very clean and cozy.

Room smelled of smoke, hotel was dated (not matching the website) some of parking lot was degraded and room was not very clean and noisy when upstairs room folks walked. Nice new bathroom though. Finally, not handicapped accessory as steps were needed.

It’s a nice hotel, the staff is super nice. For the price, it was a resort vibe. But if you stay on the first floor on garden side you hear everything. The walls are like paper.. I can hear everyone’s convo.. slamming things. Very noisy hotel. The beds are comfortable.

King suite was very nice. Wish they had screens for the sliding glass doors for some fresh air. They have the most awkward and inefficient system for breakfast. Wish I had not prepaid for it.

Room was clean and cozy. Only issues we had were trying to figure out the tv remote and the room did not have any plastic cups for a cold drink.

A few remaining items they need to address: Resurface the parking lots; On the backside approach to the property, paint the cement approach and stain the wooden platform. Also, the screen slider in the room is torn and needs to be replaced. There is an 18 hole golf course on the property, which is quite nice. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay here!

The property was in various stages of renovations but was otherwise in good condition. The friendly staff was helpful. The breakfast (that I paid for) was good, my eggs were scrambled just as requested. The room was clean and comfortable.

Beautiful hotel, really nice area, the room view descriptions aren't exactly accurate, but it's not that serious.. food is amazing and reasonably priced. Front desk staff was so friendly and kind. The bar staff and restaurant staff were very attentive..Will definitely make this our new stop!

Very old so to be expected

We made a reservation over 8 months before our stay. Requested a first floor room because of disability. The room was on the top floor with no elevator. I complained to staff but didn’t hear anything back. One of the staff members said they would talk to the manager but we haven’t heard anything yet. Wasn’t happy with our situation. Don’t think we’ll return. 2 times I sent a message about accommodations and it was documented by staff and no one obviously did anything about it. Also one of the staff members should dress a little better when receiving customers. He dressed like a bum and reeked of tobacco. Toilet was broken too. The sliding door was filthy. When I opened the bedside drawer there was some kind of bug in there. I tried to grab it with a Kleenex and it pinched me and got away. My wife wasn’t pleased at all.

Had the king suite. Nice room. We had it for 6 days. No closet just an open area next to tv that had a place to hang 7 items. No dresser, really were living out of suitcase. Needed an iron but there is none, had a steamer that didn’t work for my needs. No elevator to 3rd floor. We had to carry everything we had up stairs.

Very good

I am surprised that it is not very handicap accessible. The hot tub water had an unpleasant smell so didn't stay in very long. We had an issue without TV but there was no maintenance guy on duty, so we just had to deal with it. The rooms were very nice and clean.
