Sonesta Bee Cave Austin Hill Country

Me and my son stayed this hotel 3 nights for the Little Mo tennis tournament. This hotel is beyond expectations. It is much better than the 4 star hotel in downtown that we stayed previous night. The room is spacious and clean. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The rooftop restaurant has excellent food with very reasonable price. I highly recommend this hotel.

I had booked a corner room. I didn’t like the view from my room on the 4th floor. Emre at the front desk offered another room for me to check and we ended up keeping the room that we had and just kept the curtains closed because the view was the AC units below us. Emre offered a credit for the restaurant and a breakfast discount which was well appreciated. We just had a cocktail and dessert at the bar. The staff was very accommodating.

Modern The small shop and payment system wasn’t working / breakfast facilities poor no proper breakfast and asked for a plate and was refused

Clean rooms; worn cushions in the pool area and the Meridian; full size bathroom toiletries; plenty pillows and bed comfortable; under garage parking; small cafe w ok breakfast to go

The rooms were very clean. The staff at check in was very friendly and helpful. Bo, Alex and Ariel at the upstairs restaurant/ bar were wonderful and very attentive.

Room carpet was filthy and torn. Room was musty and had fleas, pool had no towels and pool umbrellas required multiple requests to open. I distinctly asked if $50 incidental charge would be credited upon check out. Front desk assured me it would but then charged me $28 additional amenity/reservation fee. This did not exist 2 wknds ago. This Fee included $33 food & beverage voucher BUT only 1 per day & could only be used at restaurant which opens at 4pm & checkout 11am. Told me I could not use it at the cafe. Restaurant applied entire $33 voucher to my $20 bill, gave herself a 20% tip, did not have me sign or give me receipt & upon asking, she refused to credit me the remaining balance.

Rooms are comfortable and AC silent, which is rare. Great pool, a relaxing time. Professional friendly staff.
