When we first got to our room, the A/C wasn’t on, but once we turned it on, the room cooled down very quickly. Everything was clean and comfortable, and we had everything we needed for our stay. The property could use a few upgrades and some finishing touches, but for a stay of less than 10 hours, it was exactly what we needed. Overall, it was a great experience, and we’d definitely stay here again. Hopefully next time we’ll have more time to enjoy the pool and explore more of the property.

Room was hot ac did not cool very well. Room was not cleaned very good.
-
No problems just an older hotel
-
I was only there cause my car needed extra work done and parts not there til next day. Room ac wasnt strong, luckily the ceiling fan worked, ice machine didnt work, the clerk had a bag of ice, no thanx, breakfast was bad, waffle maker not on and looked not to been cleaned, and the mix was in a fridge that was probably there for days and too thin

The property location was excellent and I can see that the hotel was once a really nice place to stay. But it's obvious that the ownership has long ago decided to abandon any thoughts of continuing to operate as a nice place to stay. I believe they're just waiting to sell it for the property value. Pool was green, air conditioning units not working properly, ceiling fans noisy, light bulbs missing, door lock cards extremely difficult to operate, and bathroom door not closing due to prior water damage on frame. It wasn't the worst place to stay, and not terrible for the price. But I wouldn't recommend it to someone looking for a nice place to stay.

Nice and quiet. Found this stay as the lowest price at the time and nearest to our travel location.

Very cute hotel. Very clean. Nice people.

The price but the experience definitely told me why it was cheaper. Lobby empty at check in took about 40 minutes or more for check in the guy had no people skills. The employee working charged me twice even though it was already paid for. No manager on site. Then the request of the rooms were not correct 1 king bed and 1 double room requested them next to each. The worker only gave 1 key for room each. The rooms were dirty food crumbs on tables, shower didn’t work in room 117 baby roaches in the drains of sink both rooms. Not well maintained missing light bulbs in room. Bathroom knob was turned other way like someone could lock you in the bathroom. If it shut and locked properly but it doesn’t. Don’t get me started on what they had for breakfast and the coffee was gross.

Staff were missing most of the time. The pool was in bad condition, with live bugs in the water and dirty. The ice machine was broken, and the food (yogurt) and other things in the refrigerator were expired. The room was also not in very good Condition. The only good thing was the view (Mountains)

Great value! Owner and staff very customer service oriented! Nice place and would recommend. Limited selections in breakfast but functional. Would do again!

This is a very old property that could use some exterior updates. The rooms were clean, but the bathrooms were dated, and could use remodeling.

I want to start off with saying this place is for people who appreciate "Texas charm" but, if you're looking for high class lodging this is NOT the place for you. If you're a Texas charm person, you'll appreciate the quirks. The view is hands down there absolute reason you'll book. The other reviews are mad about dust, old furnishing, musty smells, bugs..... IYKYK Texas hill country is about all of the above. I will say our toilet didn't work the first two nights and owner didn't really try to fix the issue for us until I personally went instead of my husband. The issue was fixed the third day. Breakfast? Plan to go get breakfast somewhere. The owner seems to be the only person running the place and it shows--- but if you love mountains, outside, songs of birds..... Book it. Get a suite!!!

Room was clean and staff was friendly!
-
Very nice and accommodating manager. Nice views from the property Tired and shabby buildings and decor, slow hot water to showers, pool unusable.
-
It was cozy and the staff was very accommodating to my 2 am arrival. Room was very large and floors and all felt clean overall. You could tell it was a little dated and some dorty/mold areas in bathroom floor etc. However, the hotel rooms felt clean in general...but old and dated. Pool is also green/unusable. They should just drain it and say out of service.

Decent location for travelers looking for something midway between Austin and lake Travis Overall everything was kind of janky. The room has missing curtains with only the curtain rod screws still in the wall. Neither of the wall mounted night lamps has light bulbs. The bed runner had stains. The towels were the lowest possible quality and you could see older stains on them. The pool wasn’t even operating, it was stagnant green water. I’m sure this property was nice at one point in time, but the pictures are not an accurate description of the place. The management in the front office seemed more intent on laying in the couches in the common space than actively working. If you’re simply looking for a place to rest your head at night and not concerned about anything else this place is fine. But you can honestly get more, for less, elsewhere.

The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was amazing. The staff was super nice and he was personable. We only stayed for a night for my nephew’s graduation.

The view was wonderful. Worn out outdated furniture. Broken appliances. Shower door did not close and apparently for some time now because there's mold growing on the wall adjacent to it. There is no housekeeping on a daily basis. One bar of soap was allowed and by bar of soap I mean the thinnest slice of Hotel so that you could find anywhere. And this was supposed to be for the sink and the shower like I said one bar. The pool looked like a breeding ground for a brand new communicable disease but however you could sit on the few broken flipped over chairs around the pool because you could still have access to the Hazardous condition. There was broken hoses and broken sprinkler lines rolled out against the building and all over the property. The couch that was supposed to be in the bedroom was just a piece of a multi-sectional. So it was an inoperable recliner as well as it was dangerous on both sides. The booking site said they offer cribs and extra beds on request however it was no such crib or bed available and instead of the property responding through the booking.com app they waited till we got there to tell us that.

Could use some upgrades but otherwise ver clean, loved the shower and I slept like a baby. Only thing I did not like was the fact that the hotel was pet friendly, do as I was falling asleep I got a good whiff of dog smell.

Nothing Terrible place. Fire alarm going off all night. Room super dirty.
