Terrible customer service from night staff. We had 20+ people staying there and we were treated like we were a burden, not guests.

Check in was easy. It is just a standard hotel. The accommodations were as expected.

When I arrived at the hotel I was greeted with a terrible smell in the lobby. The entire time I stayed at the hotel, a sign remained on the front desk saying “I’m away from the desk”. I feel like for the price, I expect constant service at the front desk. My room was dirty. The carpet was covered in stains. It smelled like stale grease. The air conditioner smelled like mold and didn’t work well (wouldn’t kick on until the temp was at least two degrees higher than set at and didn’t have an option for continuous fan). The bathroom light was on a timer and kept turning off when I wanted it on. The food from the on site restaurant was inedible (and I just ordered a burger and fries). There was a large gap under the door to my room, which seemed creepy to me. I would never stay here again for the price.

The hotel was nice and newer feeling. The rooms are a bit small… poor water pressure in the showers and the breakfast was not very good. Location is nice and good area if you have a trailer or camper to park.

Nice location on Lake Bemidji. Our room had a view of the lake and that was really nice as we could watch the sunset. The property is well-maintained. Room was clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good with eggs, sausage, waffles, toast. They did have biscuits and gravy but while the biscuits were okay, the gravy was bland and unappetizing.

I really liked that the hotel has a very family-friendly, peaceful atmosphere for relaxing.

Nice hotel, staff was rarely at the front desk though. Hallways and elevators were extremely hot, I don't think the AC was working. Thermostat in my room wasn't able to be adjusted, but the temp was far better than the hallways.

The staff were very helpful, rooms were nice and the l9cation is great. Good food next door at The Tavern
