My husband and I had never been to the town of Benicia, and it was lovely! This B&B had gorgeous views of the water from many rooms including the one we stayed in - the Pink Palace room. Only 6 rooms in this B&B, several rooms to hang out in - front porch, bar, dining room - and the price was good. Walkable to wonderful bar/restaurant - Lucca Bar and Grill - and the downtown. Will definitely go back!

Breakfast was very nice and owners were lovely. Shower fan in room 5 next door was loud when in use. The mattress was comfortable except it might have used a board between the mattress & box spring to offset the sinking in the middle. The mattress was soft enough overall.

Breakfast was very good and we loved the location. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Breakfast was great. The location is wonderful and the owners are friendly and helpful.

The rooms were comfortable and well appointed, the staff was helpful and friendly in their welcome, and the entire location felt comfortable and homey. I didn't get an opportunity to visit the small bar and sitting room in the lobby this time around but will be certain to do so when I have a less busy visit to Benicia. Nothing comes to mind and I don't wish to look for things that would cause disappointment. If anything, the worst of it was that I didn't have time to try out the comfy looking spa tub in the room.

This is the best place to stay in Benicia if you want to park the car and walk around the beautiful downtown area with shops, restaurants, and live evening music. The staff was wonderful.

My first time in a B&B. It was great. Not weird, comfortable, cute bar area, complementary wine at check in. Very charming! The knock somewhere that kept us awake. Could have been due to the wind. I brain wouldn't turn off thinking it could be a ghost, lol

Such a cute property, we stayed in the Benica Bay room. It was cute, had plenty of space and a great balcony to hang out on and watch the sunset over the bay. We loved the jacuzzi tub and they thought of everything. Complimentary beer, wine and water, ice available if needed and breakfast was great! Bacon, eggs, fruit, pastries juices and coffee. Really well done, absolutely enjoyed our stay! The bed was the only downside... hard as a rock! After our first night we requested some additional comforters to help soften... they brought 3 fluffy ones and fixed the issue. After that, everything was perfect!

Beautiful view from the room, gracious host, close to everything Nothing

Location, views, balcony, breakfast, kindness of owner, beer and wine, Bed mattress was lumpy, sheets were not cotton and didn’t breathe. Vanity shelf above sink is sloping, almost broke my glass vial of serum when it slid off the shelf.

Great location. Wonderful staff.

What an absolute FIND. My wife and I stayed here on a Sunday night, and we stayed in the Pink Palace room (on the southwest corner, upstairs with a balcony). The views were fantastic, and the room had tons of character and comfort. Christina was so hospitable and sweet. We were welcomed with a complimentary beverage, and she accommodated my wife's and my request for an early check-in so that we could attend an afternoon concert in Concord. She also prepared us an omelette breakfast with healthy options on the side. Shorelight has an unbeatable location ~ central to all the charming businesses downtown... and next to the waterfront foot path. Parking was a breeze. Price was very fair. Will be staying here again. Books up fast, only 6 rooms

Staff were very attentive and accommodating. Breakfast each morning was exceptional - sausage, bacon, and eggs cooked to order with fresh fruit each day. Location is right on the water front. Parking is limited so be aware that you may have to park on the street overnight - which is quite common for this location since most businesses in town do not provide a parking lot for their customers.
-
Large suite with balcony and great views. One block from Main Street. Very sweet host and owner. Made to order breakfast. No elevator.

Super warm, welcoming staff -- the proprietor, himself, joined us at breakfast. Rooms are SPACIOUS, clean, and well, decorated. Location is right on the waterfront!

I never got any kind of confirmation email. I couldn't remember the name or address of this place and I also got nothing from Booking.com so I had to forfeit my stay. So disappointing. Don't places usually send out reminders? I got nothing. So sad. ☹️
