We had no hot water to shower when we got up and when we checked out the clerk said they had hot water now. I said now it's time to check out she didn't offer us any extra time to shower nor a room to make up for not having hot water. Usually this is a great place we stay all the time but we go there for the shower and got cold ones not happy

There are bed bugs in the second floor rooms 220. Rooms were not ready and clean at check in time.
-
Very fast check in and ample parking spaces

Overall it was a good place to stay being just off Interstate 10. Dennys was right next door where you could get 15% off your meal when mentioning you stayed at the hotel. Unfortunately the pool was not available as it closed due to needing to be cleaned

All areas were excellent. Great stay Nothing comes to mind

It's in the desert. There were bugs in the room.

A pit stop on a long drive

The room was clean, but took forever to cool down. The pool needs serious help. You can tell it hadn't been professionally cleaned in a long time. Having the hotel desk clerk to skim it, doesn't cut it. There are also bees that took up residence in the pool by the steps too.

It was next to Dennys There was a bug in my bed.

When we first arrived I thought I was walking into a Clark W Griswold special, the looks were deceiving. It’s an older place, got some older cars parked out front with Dennys right next door. Pool was clean, room was clean and spacious. Loved that we had a fridge and microwave. Close freeway access and close to the middle of town as well. Everyone was friendly and helpful, beds were comfy and despite being close to the freeway it was quiet. Would stay here again for sure! Will make a reservation here for our fall trip to the area!

Mr. Danny O'Sullivan and his staff are outstanding. I have stayed at Copper Stay Inn many times and they always take good care of me. My only gripe: the swimming pool. It seems like every time I stay there the pool is never open as it was not open this time either.

Perfect location right off the interstate. Room was clean and beds were super comfy. Very safe rural area as well.
-
This is an older Hotel and nothing has been replaced for a long time but they do keep it very clean.
-
Old property. Beds were hard. Shampoo & bar of soap only toiletries.

We were staying in Benson because we had gone hiking at the Chiricahua National Monument (highly recommended) and I thought driving back 2 hrs to Tucson (vs 1 hr to Benson) might be a better idea. In hindsight, I would not stay in Benson again. After a hot day hiking, we were looking forward to the pool. Upon driving in, we noticed the pool sign said "closed". I thought maybe it was just a mistake (later I asked the maintenance person and he said "pool pH is 0.1 too high") Upon walking up to the office, there was a bad odor (i.e. like sewage) that was even worse inside the office. The check-in person was a bit distracted with another customer but broke away to get us checked in quickly. These two things were minor(-ish), but the room itself was in pretty bad shape. Carpet was soiled (no bare feet) and the shower was no better. No hot water (only lukewarm) and low pressure. The motel is pretty close to the train tracks and the noise did bother my son. The ice machine was working though :o We just stayed one night and that was enough. No checkout person in sight at 8 am. Given that this motel had the highest rating of motels in Benson, I will opt to drive further to a place closer to Tucson in the future. I could not recommend this motel to anyone.

The staff were excellent and accomadating as we arrived very late in the night. The room was clean and had a fridge for our medicine which was important. It was a quick stop on our journey so we didn't use any facilities.
