Hotel Bethany Beach

I hate surprise fees, like PARKING for $25 per day! Also the free breakfast had powdered eggs. No restaurant ever uses powdered eggs, nor should any hotel. Powdered eggs are for homeless shelters. The rest of the breakfast items were great, big selection..

Love hotel Bethany beach, about a 15 walk to the Beach which is perfect. 5th summer here in a row. Always will come back, the kids and wife love it. Great food nearby and super safe as well

Always smiling and happy to be there….. Super clean rooms While everyone at the hotel was super nice, Janis at the Front desk made sure our room was ready for us. Breakfast is a nice touch, with everything you need to start off your day. Great staff overall. Looking forward to our next visit to Bethany.

We were pleasantly surprised to find this lovely hotel tucked away behind the Sea Colony condos. Everything was good except we were surprised at how poor the sound proofing was between adjoining rooms. We could hear entire conversations from the other room even though they were not speaking loudly. The breakfast was excellent!

No beach or pool towels and you have to pay to have your room cleaned but otherwise it's a great hotel. Felt like a Marriott.

Location was good. Really liked the pool and breakfast was included which saved us some money.

The property was very clean and in a great location. The only negative was that one of the beds was very bad and had the metal sticking out. Also, we had to pay an extra $25 if we wanted to get cleaning of the room. All else was perfect.

The hotel was a walking distance to the beach and restaurants, Breakfast was good considering that it was free. The area is quiet which was nice. The hotel charges $25 per night for parking which is not fair to customers

We had a very nice stay at the hotel. The proximity to the beach was excellent and the complimentary 2 beach chairs and 1 umbrella voucher was fantastic! The rooms were clean and good for what we were paying for and expecting. My only issue with the hotel is this…this is a pet friendly hotel (and we knew this), but I contacted the hotel twice to ask if there were certain floors or rooms where pets couldn’t be. I did this due to my wife’s allergies to cats/dogs. We were told pets are only allowed on the pet friendly floor which is #2. Floors 1,3,4 are not pet friendly. Great! We were on floor 4 and on Monday and Tuesday we could hear a dog barking on our floor. I asked my wife if she could tell if an animal was in our room before but she said she felt fine so I would assume no. I have messages from the hotel to me stating that the 2nd floor is the only pet friendly floor. I only write this for others to be aware that I’m not sure how well this protocol is followed or maybe this was an isolated instance. Maybe someone brought a dog up with them to a friends room? I don’t know, BUT I would just be aware. We didn’t press the issue because my wife felt fine so that’s all that mattered but if someone has a severe allergy just be cautious. Otherwise everything from staff to the amenities were great!

Nice place to stay, room was clean basically wasn’t ready till the 4pm check in, pretty convenient to everything, mini golf, big candy store and restaurant right there basically in the same parking lot, front desk girls all very nice, elevators clean and really never a wait even though hotel was pretty full, overall a nice place, would stay here again

I have stayed at many hotels and this hotel was the cleanest and well-thought-out in its layout that I have stayed in in a long time. The bathroom was spacious, and the sitting area with the couch and table were very nice as well as the little wet bar. Not the hotel’s fault, but I just don’t sleep well on boxspring mattresses. So perhaps to have some options of memory foam.

Hotel Bethany Beach was lovely! We got vouchers for beach chairs and an umbrella every day, two free tickets for dino mini golf, and a decent breakfast every morning. The location is awesome; just minutes from the beach (you could walk, drive, or take the trolley). The staff were super friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back!
