The whole place looks like it’s moments from falling apart. I do mold inspections for a living and I saw several areas in the room that were moldy. The mini split (AC unit) was caked with mold on the inside. It had also leaked and caused water damage to the wall below. The walls around the shower area had chunks of drywall that were clearly moldy and rotting. The bathroom windowsill was also moldy. The carpet in the room and hallways looked poorly laid. There were wrinkles and many threads coming up at the edges. The furniture was worn down. The bar wasn’t even open on the day I stayed, which was a Tuesday. Only good part was that the front desk clerk was friendly.

Overpriced for old, drab, dirty rooms with super judgy and stuck up staff. Totally run down and was forced to walk through the alley to their sister property Mosaic just to get coffee. First world problems I know. Had Hotel Engine not covered my incidentals, they would have charged over $100 per day in addition to the room rate. Thank you to Yessinia w HE for helping with the original snafu.
