Holiday Inn Express & Suites Blackwell by IHG

The only issue was when we got to our room, the toilet wouldn’t flush and we had to go downstairs and get a plunger and unstop it ourselves. Seems like guests shouldn’t have to be plumbers too.

Nice staff. Room was clean. TV service had to be reset. Never got my iPad to hook up to wifi. Restroom pretty dark. The lights around the mirror didn't work at all. A/C worked great.

Booking and check in were a breeze. After checking in and getting settled went to go to the pool. Sign posted "Closed for maintenance 'so I asked how long it would be down. They said " oh, it has no water in it, it's closed" So we booked this property for it convenience and indoor pool but was never told before, or after booking and not even until after we checked in. So we paid to just sleep and hangout in a room for 2days.

Staff here was incredible. We were passing through during a tough storm and decided to stop. The property lost power for a while but the manager and gentlemen working the front desk handled this so well and were very kind and accommodating.

20 minutes after arriving a storm hit, including a tornado. Power went out, people trapped in elevator, our room on 3rd floor became hot and muggy. I am disabled and had to have help going down the stairs. Emergency vehicles blocked the entrance. Left.

Clean Exterior door didn’t work with electronic key

Elevators were not in good working order. Many times we opted to take the stairs.

Cleanliness and caring staff.

Was told by hotel that if i booked 2 rooms with the same card ( even through a third party booking) that they would be side by side or across the hall from each other but they put us on two different floors and wouldn’t fix it we booked a month in advance also. There were minor things in the room that could use attention. Also psa: Holiday Inn no longer puts coffee pots or cups in their rooms and dont bother to tell you when you check in.

It is quiet, the bed and pillows are very comfortable and they offer complimentary bottle of water when you arrive.

Very clean

The staff was very nice, room was very clean, they have excellent breakfast. I will stay here again in the future.

HI Express in Blackwell OK appears new, well-kept. No daylight allowed cuz large window opened onto parking area. Could not turn on lamp on "desk" -- tried power switch several times but no light. Shower floor in tub very slippery -- had to be very careful on faint grippers.

Quiet and great breakfast. The elevators were a pain. Every time I stay there there's a problem with one of the elevators. This time one of the elevators only went to the 4th floor and that was the elevator that opened up. You had to send it up and then call the other. I stay at this Holiday Inn Express 4 times a year. I hope to find two working elevators in the future.
