SpringHill Suites Shreveport-Bossier City/Louisiana Downs

It’s a little off the beaten path, but the staff is very friendly and property is clean and well maintained.

They are renovating but it didn’t take away from the hotel. Very quite. We will stay there again.

The room was very clean and comfortable. When we checked out we found no ice or water to refill our drinks.

The room was nice and clean. Clean bathrooms, bright light. Breakfast was also good. We would stay there again.

Hotel was under construction. One of the elevators opens and closes with a scary slowlness but the other works normally.

The staff was friendly but our room was not cleaned at all. Trash everywhere, toilet not cleaned. Pee on the bathroom floor. Ac kept turning off all night and it was hot.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful as much as they could be... I paid 180 for the room and it was extremely small and it doesnt say on here anywhere that there isnt pool on-site u have to go to a different hotel across the street for the pool.. also the entire hotel is under construction and it really made our stay not a good as advertised because breakfast was limited and none of the anemities were available... for the price I paid we could have stayed somewhere with a bigger room and better accommodations... parlor has access to the casino and racetrack which was kinda kool too...

Everything was great honestly. They are going through a remodel so some areas were unavailable. Other than that the elevator was really shaky and scary to our children.

The lady who made the cookies for the front desk, made sure we had an abundance of chocolate chip cookies and sugar cookies. She went out of her way to make them for us.

Convenience to the Racetrack Could hear conversations of people next door too well

the pool has been removed since last i stayed. Not much room for the continental breakfast. maybe the remodel was the reason.

Staff was very friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was too small to feed entire hotel. Elevator broke when I was in it. Construction going on with no warning on website. Several charges to my room still pending a week later with no action taken after I have called several times.

The room was newly renovated and quite nice. The only Real issue was that we could hear..quite clearly, our neighbors on both sides. There was also gaps around the door which let you hear people walking in the hallway….not bad, just noticeable. The staff were friendly which was really nice after a long day! We did not eat anything from breakfast, but it looked nice snd area was clean. We would stay here again.

Staff was incredibly friendly and kind. Parking was easy and the suites were really nice. Major drawback right now is the construction/remodel occurring during our stay.
