Staybridge Suites Bowling Green by IHG

Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, although some of the furniture was a bit worn. The breakfast was great, as usual, and the front desk ladies were friendly. The shower would not get as hot as my wife likes, which is the first time we've had this issue at this hotel.

The room was nice and clean. Breakfast area had variety of items. Fresh fruit was available to mix with yogurt. Also scrambled eggs, sausage and make your own waffles. The staff was very friendly and great options for local restaurants instead of chain restaurants in the area. Convenient location. Very easy to find. Unfortunately, the only unfavorable comment was pool was under construction and not available. I just wish I was informed prior to booking my reservation.

Only complaint is the sleeper sofa was very uncomfortable

A great place for a family of four with young kids. The room and bathroom were clean and well maintained, although the property is a bit dated and could benefit from some renovations. The complimentary breakfast offered a good variety of options. The location felt safe, there was ample parking available, and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

The website and Expedia page both tout the pool, but the pool isn’t open until mid July when half the summer is over?!. It does say this in the fine print after you click through subsections but I didn’t see it and that’s ridiculous anyway. The pool is the reason I chose this place over another. Also the Expedia page says they have a restaurant. They do not. Also, there were weird smells, the fabric on the furniture was coming apart, etc…They refused even a partial refund for these issues. DO NOT STAY HERE

Room was extremely worn out. Fan in bathroom of the room above us was SCREECHING and it was ridiculous. Room smelled a bit musty. I expected more from this hotel chain. Super let down.

Clean, large rooms. Good breakfast. Pool was under maint. Doors between rooms in suite didn't latch or lock.

I would have rated higher had the pool been open. I was disappointed it wasn’t. Everything else was great, including the staff. The bed was super comfy. The Tvs need updated but was functional.

The outdoor pool is drained and kids were very disappointed. This was not mentioned during booking. The queen beds were more like a full bed and difficult to sleep in with 2 adults. Room layout was good

Great location, staff was nice and helpful, after getting into the room and plugging my charger into the lamp I noticed the whole light bulb was hanging by a wire so the person at check in was kind and relocated another lamp next to the bed removing the broken light, bed was comfortable, breakfast was good the bathroom needed a little work, the door scraped the floor, the shower curtain was horrible, the floor was wet when getting out of the tub while the curtain was inside the tub during my shower, the walls and floor look like it has been wet for a while the tile was pulling away from the wall near the floor, the drain did not work it was loose and laid on the tub floor

READ!!!!!!I don't know how this property is rated 9/10. It was disgusting. Silverfish on the walls. Stains on bedding. Stains on carpet. Absolutely filthy. Because we arrived very late after a drive we had no choice but to stay. We slept with the lights on to hinder bugs from coming out, woke early in the morning, skipped the disgusting breakfast, and didn't look back. Horror movie!!!!!! DO NOT BELIEVE THE RATINGS!!!!

The rooms are spacious and clean. I liked the sitting room and kitchen area. Location is close to alot of dining options. The pool was closed due to maintenance.

During my recent best friends reunion, me traveling from Columbus, Ohio my best friend coming from Memphis, Tennessee. We decided to pick Bowling Green our meeting location for the week. This was the cleanest, friendliest hotel with all the amenities, including a Diet Coke dispenser, which I love I don’t drink coffee, the food the staff the room was immaculate, so enjoyable and made our time together so much more comfortable I recommend this location to everyone.
