The Retreat at Anna Maria Island Inn

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the location was fantastic and the accommodations were nice and exceptionally clean.

There was just a few things missing 1) no microwave, just a stove top to warm any leftovers 2) I would have liked a large size mirror 3) a small broom would have been nice to have in the room to sweep away the sand; even though housekeeping comes every day, I like to keep the floor clean 4) I’m not a big fan of Lavazza coffee, but I travel w/ my single cup Keurig machine Overall, great place, parking right outside your door and a quiet patio area to end your evening. I plan to return.

Clean beautiful rooms. Up to date. Mini fridge inside room. Beautiful landscaping. Third party booking thru Expedia doesn’t specify which room so ours did not have the pool on site had to walk to another of their locations that allowed us to use the pool.

The location and rooms were excellent

Disappointed , in the description it’s says private patio and pool well when sitting out there we could see our neighbors next to us (8ft away)The private pool was 2 BLOCKS away which is definitely not in the description. The staff was really friendly and rooms were clean but not enough amenities like charging port plugs and lamps! Definitely will look for a different place next time.

The property was clean and very close to the beach. I did not realize the room I booked was not where the pool was. Anna Marie Retreat has several different properties where rooms are but the pool is not at all of them. The biggest disappointment was they did not have a microwave. A full size refrigerator is there and a stove but there was no way to reheat things. The location was so close to where I was helping with a wedding that I only had to walk one block so it was a perfect place to stay!!

Cute little place near the ocean, no soap provided, a/c set at 69 with no control to change it. Cleaning laid woke us up at 7:30 am slamming doors and cabinets next door. Other than location and room are nice.

Location and staff was great. Room did have a strong mildew order and bathroom had some mold in crevices. Otherwise room was clean.

The property is immaculate. The pool was refreshing. The bed was so comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

The comfort, cleanliness and the location of the Retreat!! Nothing

Perfect location! The only thing I didn’t like was the property we stayed at wasn’t the one shown on the picture. And we had a hard time finding it. Other then that it was a perfect location 1 block from beach and right between Anna Maria and Bradenton beach

The Inn was beautiful! Great for a couples trip. The beach was within walking distance and the staff were friendly. Would stay again.

The location was great, with easy access to the beach and the added convenience of chairs and umbrellas already set up. However, I do think the cleanliness of the room was subpar. The floors were never cleaned during our stay, which left the room feeling sandy despite our efforts to avoid tracking sand in from the beach. We also found there had been small items that had been left behind by previous guests, which made the room feel less clean. Overall, the location was a major plus, but the standard of cleanliness could definitely be improved.

The next time though I would definitely stay at a property with a pool and on beach, NOT go through a third party.
