Best Western Plus Bradenton Gateway Hotel

Great location, good place. All good.

There is mold in the sheer on the window and the carpet needs cleaning.

Staff very friendly and helpful, especially Daniel! The property is in a period of update and remodeling. They have a ways to go but they try to accommodate your needs and wishes. A decent full breakfast menu that gets switched out daily. The only drawback was the nightly pet fee.

I didnt like that there where issues with the hotel automatic front doors. One thing I can say from all the Best Western hotels is that the room furniture is outdated and the rooms smell like mold. Jet tub cold water did not work, only the hot water worked, had to put ice on the water. Not too pleased.

The room had a bad smell bathroom needs more attention found stuff on the floor the corner look bad

Nothing Everything, this is the worse place I have ever stayed, the longest 4 hours of my life my family and I was supposed to stay there for 3 days but I could have not forgiven my self if I had stayed. We were only there for 4 hrs as we arrived at 2am with 3 small kids and we couldn’t find anything near by at that time that was in a better condition. So we let our kids sleep for 4 hours and we ran out. The room was full of mold the chairs the beds the ceiling OMG I was a property manager and never seen anything like it before. The rooms smell horrible everything was dusty but a dust that has not been wiped away since the place open who knows when. As we are leaving we encounter bed bugs we almost die. Sounds funny and dramatic but it is the honest truth. Unfortunate we didn’t check for reviews prior as someone we know who we have never thought would stay at a place like this stayed here and was the one who referred us. We just needed a descent place to stay where we could park our boat so that we can enjoy the beach near by. I have never given a bad review to any place or anyone but people need to know before they book this place of what they are getting into.
