Front desk was welcoming

Entire hotel had odor, musty smell including our room. Building and room show their age. Breakfast was poor, pastries and bagels were rock hard.

It's an old outdated hotel. The staff is welcoming and the continental breakfast is that. Continental brade fast. Great for the price and location

The sheets were covered in moho. It was disgusting. The carpet in the room was moist from the humidity in the room.

Convenient location to Ana Maria which is where we wanted to go. Small pool but still enjoyed it. Lobby was really clean and smelled good. The only issue I had was the room smelled musty from the AC. I lit a candle and it sufficed for our day trip.

We did not have the opportunity to use the pool, so we cannot comment on that amenity. Overall, we had a positive experience

Staff was horrible rude and no running water

The hotel was always super clean and everyone was friendly, only one issue. I booked on Expedia and had a pet when I arrived. The lady at the desk didn’t know how to do that so she just charged me me the $150 deposit. The next day the lady knocked on my door for 5 mins to collect the pet fee. I wasn’t there, my husband was in shower and the dog went crazy. She saw me coming up the elevator and said I need to collect the pet fee I said ok. Came down a few mins later she said she reversed the 150 and charge me 240 for the pet fee plus deposit. That didn’t make any sense to me but she had already done it. Then when I checked out I noticed 3 charges the 150 deposit a 97 fee and the 240. I was out all that money for my entire stay because it was a holiday and then the weekend when I only owe the 90 pet fee.

I made a request for my child with special needs, who is sensitive to noise and allergic to strong smells from disinfectants or air fresheners. Everything was accommodated; they changed our room. The only thing is that the air conditioner made a noise from time to time that was a bit bothersome. I also made a request to the cleaning staff, and they were very kind.

The hotel is in a great location; you can easily go out to eat or shop since there are various businesses nearby, and it’s about 20 minutes from Coquina Beach, Manatee Beach, and Anna Maria Beach. Everything was spotless and the staff was very friendly, though I did notice that the front desk was unattended several times. Breakfast is included, but honestly, I didn't care for it; I think there should be more fruit options. That said, my family did enjoy it.
