Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bradenton West by IHG

The room was having a strong humidity and smoke odor,even when they say it was non smoky room . The hotel in general wasn’t to clean . I only like the location and the breakfast was ok too .

Everyone was welcoming.

Cons: carpets in room and hallways were dirty and gross. Poor sound control. We were awakened at 2 am by a family with a loud child in the hallway. Could hear upstairs guest moving chairs.

My room was clean. The staff was OK. The breakfast was good. The hot tub and the pool area were flooded. Unusable the entire two days the building looks nothing like the picture advertised by Expedia. I’m more mad at Expedia. I will never use Expedia they misrepresented the property with their pictures. They posted their cancellation policy is utterly ridiculous. Pay less and unable to cancel it all pay a little more and you can cancel like a week before. What good is that? Absolutely tried to call because there was a disturbance over the Gulf on the West Coast of Florida. I tried to reschedule. By contacting Expedia, I wasn’t even able to talk to a live person. Everything was AI. I will never ever use Expedia again when I complain that the hotel I couldn’t use the amenities because they were totally flooded and a hot mess. They said it’s Expedia. They’re the ones that are nonrefundable. Everybody was just passing the buck of responsibility. Expedia your joke.!!!

Staff friendly and amazing breakfast

Breakfast is good, unimaginative. Cinnamon Rolls consistently excellent. Individual coffee grinding & brewing machines are nice, but in morning, with lots of guests, extremely time consuming delay to get coffee or tea! Pool really needs a deep cleaning, especially the rim around the entire pool! Black mold is disqusting. Hopefully the chlorine killed any germs!
