Still Waters Resort

DO.NOT.BELIEVE.THE.ADS.OR.5.STAR.REVIEWS!!! This place is absolutely DISGUSTING. Dirty, sticky carpet. Black bathtubs w/leftover water in them. Substances on the kitchen cabinet doors. They do NOT give paper towels in the kitchen or even soap for one load of laundry. The ceiling fan is about to come off the ceiling while you sleep. The walls are so paper thin, we all woke up every hour from all the noise. Key cards do not work hardly and had to call maintenance to help. The kayaking is one small area and youll be bored after 20 mins. There were no fishing poles. They try to rope you into a timeshare when you get there and then if you cancel the same day (even a few hours later) they will charge you $40, even when you have not been given any gifts. Please, if you value your families safety. Go elsewhere. Battaglia and co owner SHOULD BE ASHAMED!! Bragging about owning this hole since 1999 but scams hard working customers and jobs their kids of a safe/clean place to stay. Let me know when the class action begins. *THEY WILL NOT REIMBURSE THE STAY either. (THIS CONTINUES TO NOT ALLOW ME TO PUT THE PRICING)Even with picture proof of the horrendous conditions*

We have been going Still Waters for about six years. I do feel that members are treated a bit better than "regular" guests. That being said the Marina is a big plus. The new staff were so friendly and Brandon was so nice - he worked well under pressure and apologized for delays. It is family friendly and recommend for families with small children as well as teens.

The pictures are definitely of the upgraded units however for the deal we got the unit we were in was great.

The resort (on the outside) and amenities were nice, it was nice to be able to use the lake toys at no additional cost. The condo was very outdated. The carpet was very old, stained and disgusting. There was hardly anything to cook with in the kitchen. The pictures make it look new and beautiful, and it was mediocre at best. Staff was very friendly!

Stayed here last week and our 1 bedroom 1 bath condo was very clean. Had a murphy bed for our teen daughter. Nice view of the lake and marina. Pools were really crowded as to be expected in 90-100 degree weather. The indoor water park is much needed. So many other things to do tho. Would definitely stay here again!

still waters resorts does have alot of amenities. It is right on the water and close to silver dollar city so that is very convenient. The rooms are very outdated and our room was not very clean. Side walks are needed for guests to walk to different places on property. Check in was not very quick and not enough people to check you in when you can't check in till 4 there is a mass amount of people trying to check in or just pick up room keys

Our room was nice & overall, we enjoyed our stay; however, I will never stay here again UNLESS I was given a room on the top floor. I think it was a combination of 1.) having VERY loud, unaware people staying above us & 2.) a structural issue. The family above us walked very heavy (it sounded like they were purposefully stomping around sometimes, slamming doors, opening & closing the balcony door, etc. Even when they seemed to be a little more quiet (like at night), the floorboards were really squeaky, so we could hear every step they took as they walked across their room. It was kinda miserable...They stayed up until midnight & were awake by 7:30 all 4 days we were there, so my family didn't get much sleep. We asked the office to move us to another room three time (& also asked for a refund because we wanted to find another hotel), but they refused. We slept with a noise machine & AirPods the last couple nights. Again, the room was great, the amenities were great, everything about the place was great...but if we ever go back, I will request the top floor (& we will be mindful of the people below us!!) BTW, Expedia was AWESOME about the whole thing. Once I explained the situation, they were ready to help us find another room & even called the office manager to work on getting a refund for us (which again, Still Waters refused). Even though this was in no way Expedia's fault, they gave us a credit to use toward a future trip. THANK YOU EXPEDIA!!!!

The lake is right there. Marina was great. Lots of the great food on the property.

We took this trip to celebrate my birthday but my partner still had to work the WiFi would not work and he ended up getting in a lot of trouble with his job for not being able to work while we were here. Also found so many dead bugs around our room and in the bathtub for me that was the worst part. But outside of the bugs and WiFi we did enjoy our stay and the place.

The pool was the best part very clean and well kept. The place is nice our issue was we booked a luxury two bedroom condo and its far from luxury. The ceramic floors were filthy the carpet was dirty and musty. All of the appliances are heavily outdated the fridge wobbles and hinges were broken.There were holes in the bedding not the most comfortable beds, If they advertised it as lakefront condo instead of luxury I would not be complaining. Also would add they charge luxury prices

The resort itself has TONS to do for everyone. The pools and lake activities were the highlight. They had food onsite but the sandwich shop (Mountain Man) and the pizza shop (pizza world) were amazing. Avoid el jefes (we paid almost $17 a plate and they did NOT fill all 3 tacos with meat and the queso was completely cold - Not worth the price). Check in was a mess. The person who checked us in didn’t tell us which room we were in and sent us to concierge and gave us the wrong persons tags for our truck. Our cards didn’t work to the room and we had to go back to the front office. Then they called to say we had not completed the paperwork, which I had filled out while there for check in so we had to go back to the office again. The carpet in the rooms needs a deep clean. Our actual stay was really good and they have plenty of things to keep you busy onsite though.

We took our 4 year old grandson and had a great time. The property was clean, the staff was helpful, the resort is very family friendly and we had so much fun at the pools. We are hoping to be back next year with the whole family!

Check in was very hectic. Probably 30 people in line and we wer told our room wasn't ready so we had to come back. Properly was very nice and the kids loved the pools with the slides.

We loved everything about this place! Used all the pools. Rented jet skis & pontoon boat. Great food trucks all around the property. Had Walmart delivery for everything we needed. Utilized picnic areas & grills next to sand volleyball & basketball. Great DJ by the Oasis pool on Saturday night. Couldn’t have been any better! Took free shuttle to & from Silver Dollar City. Thank you so much
