Crystal Peak Lodge, A Vail Resorts Property

The room layout was great! We chose a 2 bedroom condo and it was very spacious with some very pretty views. The condo does not come with AC, there were 2 window fans, but 1 window had a broken latch so you were not able to open it and it was the only window that would open in the room, it was HOT for a June stay. The inconvenience of checking in a good 20 min walk away is also hard because the key card that was given to us did not work so we had to wait about 20-30 min outside our door for someone to come get us new cards. The parking is really ideal as it’s a private secure lot but it is very tight with a very limited number of parking spaces so keep that in mind. The gondola and the mini pools were a huge hit for our kids. Overall a good stay just very hot.

Although it was the off season it was still great for the summer. I could easily come back for a winter stay for some skiing.

We loved the location. Spacious unit that was very well appointed and clean. We would have appreciated a water station in the lobby. There was one I. The gym however it was empty.

The staff was great. The only thing was no air conditioning in the rooms. Well, we got there. The room was very hot and the room I got. I had no screens in the bedroom.It seemed a little run down. Location was great. The views were spectacular.

No breckfast available. No employees in the entire complex. Yhe room not maintained, Srseens ripped frames bent on other screens. Table on deck brocken.

Excellent room, very clean, and we loved how spacious it was, we especially loved the main bathroom.

No pool No staff

My only complaint is to the condo itself, 7008 in crystal lodge. The one shower door was falling off the hinge so we didnt use that shower at all. And it was very warm inside, like 80F with no heat on, so we had to keep the windows open.

The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. Those were the only two good things about this unit. All of the furniture was worn out to the point of being uncomfortable. The carpeting was stained and worn. The window blinds and screens were broken. The windows would not close. This was a very neglected unit.

Property is fine, however, our room had broken AC, the TV's didn't work. The 2 windows that actually worked didn't have screens, and the patio door screen was broken. The fireplace didn't turn off, and the bedroom light didn't work.

Nothing like sitting on your patio eating breakfast and seeing the mountain and the forest. we really enjoyed it.

I liked access to gondola and availability of shuttle bus. It was very quiet. Our condo had great views.
