The hotel was clean, staff was friendly. But the wifi was slow and the room, especially the sink area was very small. But it was worth it for the fireworks show from our room and balcony.

The place is crying out for upgrades, that being said, we will return next time we are in the area. It is dated but the rooms do not have sweeping vistas of semi truck parking lots or freeway on ramps, instead one has a sweeping view of a salt water embayment. The location is good for freeway access and downtown.

This hotel is a total time capsule from the 80s! The views from the rooms onto Oyster Bay are beautiful and serene. The room and lobby looked straight out of 1982 and were exceptionally well maintained. Sitting in the lobby I had flashbacks to being a kid and waiting at a doctor's office in the 80s, complete with stereo strings on the muzak lol. I was amazed at what a throwback it was. If you want a modern look in your hotel, this is not for you - it has the thick pile carpet, the floral bedspreads, etc. We did not stay long enough to enjoy the VHS library (!) but that was a fun added option, especially if staying with family/kids. My teenagers thought it was weird but I loved being reminded of the 80s. :)

When you arrive at this property, you may be disappointed because it clearly is not the most modern of hotels. I have to admit it is a bit dated. But my apprehension was quickly dispersed as I was greeted at the desk, and then arrived at my room. It seems that all, or most of the rooms have a great view of the water. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable, if a bit dated. If you want to experience a throwback to appointments and fixtures from the 1980s, this is the place. Nothing extraordinary about the features of the room and the hotel, but everything is functional. Breakfast is gratis between 6:00 and 10:00 AM, but selection is limited to cereals, fruit, muffins, hard-boiled eggs and orange juice. Coffee is available in a guest's room throughout the day. I liked my two-night experience, and it was a good value. I will return.

Such nice views

This place is quaint and full of character. The view from all the rooms is spectacular! This is an older hotel so it's a little out dated. But that was part of it's charm. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. You're close to lots of restaurants and only 12 minutes from the ferry to Seattle. The best part is, the price is right😁

The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and stylish. The views are amazing. We always try to book there when in town.
-
Very friendly staff and our room had an incredible view of the bay! There was a table to sit at and play games and it was a very cozy and quiet evening. Perfect for a couples retreat!
-
Great staff, ample parking, good breakfast. Room was a bit dated, but has a great view. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The room was clean. Staff was really nice. Cole. Breakfast was good and there was great parking for the price a great place to stay.

Is a little outdated, but we slept comfortably, it was very clean and the view was spectacular. The “continental breakfast’ left something to be desired, just muffins, pastries and cold cereal… however just down the road is Family Pancake House was amazing :)

Front desk staff was overly chatty, spoke very negatively about Expedia and its other associated brands, telling me I could have gotten a much cheaper room rate by booking directly but would not let me cancel my reservation so as to get the cheaper rate. Additional commentary from him (an elderly white man) included mocking and impersonating of Indian customer service agents and calling local northwest people “tree huggers”. Building common areas and decks need a good clean and painting. Room was fairly clean but smelled like cigarettes. The view was the best part of this stay. Will not return.

There was not a whole lot of options for breakfast, but I love that they offered hard boiled eggs. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the view was amazing. Also, they had free newspapers, which was nice.

Beautiful location, quiet

Other reviews were fairly accurate. But… neither the motel information nor reviews mentioned there is no elevator. Carrying our luggage up and down stairs was a significant issue. We would not stay again for that reason. Beautiful view!!!

Beautiful view, good breakfast, helpful staff! Overall a great stay!
-
It would be helpful if the TVs are mounted higher it's uncomfortable to watch from bed. Otherwise our stay was very nice and I would be back.

Joe was great. Property is clean and upgraded loved the view

The balcony overlooking the bay was absolutely beautiful. I would stay there again in a New York Minute!! Also - the laundry facilities were only $.75 cents!!!!

Highly recommend this hotel for the courteous staff cleanliness of the room and the great view from your deck
