The Inn was comfortable and very welcoming, including a text before we arrived with the information needed for entry, our room and then even homemade cookies for when we checked in that afternoon. The breakfast included a wide selection of delicious home baked goods, along with nutritions items and homemade eggs. It was evident that Liz and Doug take pride in serving the best and taking care of all your needs. We felt like family at breakfast - sharing info about ourselves, family, travel experiences, even recipes. Thanks so much for making our trip so comfortable. We can’t wait to come back again!

There was a good deal of mariner history in the house. The breakfast room was inviting and the food was delicious.

Our hosts Elizabeth and Doug were very friendly, we got information e-mails and texts prior to our arrival, so at no point were we in doubt of where to go or what to do. They servede the best and cosiest breakfast we had on our entire 10 day road trip. This place gets our warmest recommendations, we would gladly come again Nothing

The rooms and bathrooms are beautifully appointed and super comfortable. The backyard is also beautiful and comfortable to spend time relaxing by a pretty fountain with goldfish. The kitchen has everything you need to have a nice cup of coffee or tea, and a snack. It has a refrigerator dedicated for guests to store their own food and beverages. But it was the DELICIOUS breakfast selections and the friendly hospitality of the owners that really made it a memorable experience. The lighting at night was the ONLY thing that could be improved upon. I prefer warmer colored lighting over the cooler led bulbs that they have in the rooms and outside the front door. They just don’t match the otherwise traditional aesthetic of the house.

I tried using the TV remote during the evening of my stay without success. Nothing would turn on. The next morning in that same living room I tried unsuccessfully to make myself a cup of coffee in their maching and it didn't turn on. No one to ask any questions as the owners were out, which they told us in advance, attending a wake and then on Saturday a funeral. I met the owners for a brief interaction as we needed to leave early and they were friendly enough.

The innkeepers were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The breakfasts were amazing! The attention to detail, especially the cleanliness of our room and the entire inn, was exceptional. The location is just a short walk to Bristol’s shops and restaurants. I don’t think they need to change anything.
