La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Broussard - Lafayette Area

The hotel was clean and staff friendly. Only negative is the room smelled a bit if a damp smell.

We were in Broussard, LA to watch our grandson play in the ALL-STATE ball tournament. We arrived on Wednesday and didn't sleep very well because the room was warm. The next morning, we left early and spent time at the ballpark in 95-degree weather. When we returned to the hotel, we told the staff and they called the maintenance man. He came and reset the A/C. They had no other rooms available, so they offered to move us to another property. We were very tired by then, so we decided to tough it out for the night and hope it kept working. They offered us a fan which helped us a lot. After we returned to the hotel the next day, the maintenance man had a new A/C to install in the room. The last two nights we were very comfy! The free breakfast was very delicious and plentiful. The parking was good and more than enough. The staff was very efficient and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone needing lodging.

The staff was helpful. The pool was not clean. The bathroom in our room had no towel hangers. The exercise room had no towels, some of the equipment did not work as well as the tv in there.

This hotel is in a good location but that’s about the only thing going for it. The hotel needs a complete renovation and the staff has terrible attitudes. I had a two double bed room booked for two months ahead of time. The day of check-in at 1pm I received an email stating that the only option I had for a room was their King Size bed. I called and the staff stated that they couldn’t help me nor could they find anything else for our family. So we were stuck. Be aware of them changing two hours before checking in.

The elevators were out of service the entire stay, which required carrying luggage up to the 3rd floor initially and then up and down stairs each time with young children. Upon entering the bathroom, there were several hairs and soap scum in the shower as well as the toilet seat. The body wash dispenser was also empty. New, clean towels were never provided for the two night stay.

The elevator was broke and they never informed me until after I registered. Also, I had a handicap room and they put me on the 3rd floor!! I had to do my best to climb stairs with a surgical repaired knee!!

Rooms were very clean. The staff was friendly and very polite and attentive. Parking for handicapped people was next to entry point.

Staff was pleasant rooms clean and property clean columns need repair on outside and elevator wasn’t working but convenient to restaurants and gas stations. Over all a pleasant stay

I enjoyed my room location and the comfort I arrived originally at 2 o’clock pm went in to ask a clerk a question me and another customer was waiting for about 8 mins for lady clerk to come in front to help us she was very un welcoming when I left and came back at check in time a younger lady was working which she was really nice when time for check out the same heavy set black lady was back she doesn’t smile and still was un welcoming made me feel as if I was a bother to her
