Motel 6 Bryan, TX - University Area

The location is old, but the room was clean. Staff was nice & allowed me to check the room before committing. It was a very short stay, just needed beds to rest & a shower. Mission accomplished…..

Even though we paid through Expedia prior to checking in, they wanted another $60 CASH deposit prior to checking in. Not on card, IN CASH! We were NOT made aware of that! If we would have known prior to that, we would have NEVER done it. The female staff working at the front desk was super rude to one point wanting to call the cops on us, when I wanted a refund right then and there. I calmly explained to her, Expedia cannot give us our money back until 72 hours later and didn’t have any additional money to take care of another motel room. She refused to get the manager and giving us our money back. She told me to call Expedia, knowing full well, we wouldn’t get the money back for another 72 hours. We wanted the money last night, NOT 3 days later. We have drove nearly 200 miles on the road with my husband having no sleep in 26 hours. We had to sleep in our car/uhaul vehicle with 2 adult, 1 child and 2 cats, due to her lack of customer service. Would love to thank her for making our night horrible!

It was not a bad Motel 6 it just had a strange policy. You had to make a $60 CASH deposit to stay there. Not a card, but cash. You did not get it back until you had a person check your room. It was annoying and time wasting.

1-they ask you for a $60.00 dollars cash deposit. 2-there was no toilet paper in the room. 3-there was no bath towels, they had 3 mats for the tub and 4 wash towels. 4-at check out time, the front desk call housekeeping to go inspect the room but they never call back to tell the front desk, so I had to wait for the person in the front desk to go check the room and then she’ll give me the deposit back. Thanks

dirty, no clean towels, no hot water, light fixtures weren’t working, shower head barely had water coming out

Staff members and nice and friendly. Area is good if you need just a quick couple days. We stayed there for a basketball tournament in town. Worked out great to the event location.

My room was very clean the staff that check me in was extremely nice, the only thing I didn’t like was a Spanish worker in the office, I believe her name was Juana, she was rude and no personality, I had to be extremely nice and polite to get her to say anything to me, if I didn’t have to deal with her attitude I would of gave 5 stars

The a/c kept going in an off.. The wifi was not reliable, washer and dryer did not work.

Washer and dryer did not work. The ice machine did not work as well.
