Extended Stay America Suites Mt Olive Budd Lake

I am normally not one to complain about anything however, the hallways and room at this hotel smell like mold and smoke. When we walked into the lobby upon arrival a guest was allowing her dog to urinate on the lobby carpet in front of the front desk rep and nothing was said to the guest. Carpet was never cleaned. Our TV had hardly any service during our stay, Maintenance came up once to fix it and the issue kept occurring. Our room key card had to be reset at least twice a day during our stay and yes we did keep key cards away from our electronics. Breakfast is just Coffee and a granola bar. I personally will not stay at this hotel again.

The room smelled of smoke. The rug had burns in it and felt wet. No blow dryer and no hangers. The "breakfast" was very sad. The toilet rocked when it was used. The bottom of the tube was pretty dirty and two of the towels had stains on them.

I need a phone call from a rep from booking.com I made my reservation and it was canceled. You need to refund me

The place is very dated. TV stand was broken. Seemed clean enough but could have been better. Stove worked good but we went and bought our own pan to use because, again, outdated used stuff not so good.

Great standard and helpful staff

Location was great, and the pet friendly accommodations were key. Breakfast was just granola bars and muffins. Wish there were microwavable options.

There was no breakfast which was the final disappointment. A muffin and a candy bar. No fruit, Internet was difficult to get on to and I had to call their help line which took a while. The phone rang before I could answer they hung up. Waith 15 minutes for the check-in gal to appear. I have crossed them off the list.

No door key I had to be let in by the night clerk as so once I was in the room I couldn’t leave, I was downgraded from a Queen to 2 twins because they were overbooked even though I had a reservation. The person on duty was as helpful as possible. Just seemed as if they overbooked and didn’t inform the night clerk .

The staff are very kind the place is clean and there's a lot that's in walking distance if need be.

The staff and location They were over booked and I paid for a room i never got. Booking charges me for something I didn't know.. no response from booking. No refund. I paid for something I didn't get. No phone number to call booking..

Nothing Everything

Everything. Wouldn't allow us to check in late due to traffic. Had a relative check in on our behalf to avoid cancellation. Hotel and room were filthy, horrible smell. Shower was in disrepair. We left first thing in the morning and went somewhere else.

Check in was slow because they put me in a corporate group I want part of, smelled like weed, people fighting in time until 230am, dogs barking.

The front desk staff Cheryl and Shonda go above and beyond and the housman is the most pleasant person he greets everyone I can tremember the other young ladies name from the front desk but please note that staff has top tier customer service.

Location Show was broken and day time management didn't seem to care. Didn't offer any discounts for the inconvenience of no water pressure and only very hot burning water in shower.. day management seems like they don't care.
