Best Western John Jay Inn

The Staff was outstanding. They where very pleasant. Everything asked of them to make our stay more accommodating was performed.

Great rest

We have stayed at this hotel for many years. This year, they made noticeable cosmetic upgrades to the common areas and rooms including new carpets, paint, and luggage carts. We stayed in the suite but it was on the end and not the center suite near the elevator and it seemed smaller than the center suite that we usually stay in. I slept on my own airbed because the sofabed mattresses are very bad. My father said that they must not have changed the mattress in the main room because it seemed old and not comfortable. We did not eat at the breakfast daily except for grabbing some muffins, and bread. The coffee is served 24 hours a day and was actually pretty good this year. The ice machines were working despite the high heat. Overall, our stay was very good and I would return if the price were right.

Nice size room, but carpet dated with scent of dog. Nice TV's, but mini fridge not secured properly. Exterior side building door handle extremely hot. Needs immediate attention. Room AC's need servicing,

Staff

I had No complaints at all. The breakfast was awesome many choices to accommodate our appetite. Coffee 24/7 was awesome. Everyone was super friendly and courteous. Will diffinetly stay there again

Clean room, respectful staff, pool was awesome

Everything was good

Breakfast was good, parking and location was great. I made reservations online, but I had called earlier inquiring about their Jacuzzy ( wheatear hey had one and if it was working) They said yes on both counts. But when I got there the Jacuzzy did not work, din not even have any water. After a long drive I was hoping to relax in it for a while. I was very disappointed.

Nice and clean. We have quite a night.

Very good

large room refrigerator. price

Staff was very accommodating, pleasant and helpful. Rooms are very clean. Offering a refrigerator and microwave in room. Location is perfectly close to highway and shopping. They offer excellent continental breakfast.

Close to Mexico boarder Loud AC units

Clean rooms and great service.

The coffee was fine and it was available 24 hours. Hotel was conveniently located. Bed was reasonably comfortable. Room was big enough and nice enough. Air conditioning worked well. No parking lot security. Breakfast disappointing. Kind of expensive for the level of accommodations.

Location, it was clean No housekeeping. Staed there 2 days and room was not cleaned after 1st night. Told desk clerk, she replied we did not mention to them to clean and put clean towels or anything. So room was was not clean when we returned, plus key didn't work 2nd night. Door would not open so we had to speak to the desk clerk though room was paid for 2 nights when we initially arrived.

Breakfast. Close to my destination Everything was great. Would stay there again

Getting older needs some upgrades
