Property a bit run-down

Excellent pool. Staff was very friendly. Great for short retreats.

Decent property right in the middle of downtown Calistoga. Free street parking was easy. Hot tub and pool were nice; not resort quality. No gym though. A little worn and the mattress was old.

We had a great time and sorry we didn't have more time to stay longer.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating to make my stay the best. The pool is large and hot tub full of mineral water and they will let you use a bike! Fun area and the town is quaint. Great Resturants, amazing bike trails and places to hike. Wineries galore. People are very friendly. I had a one bed room that was small. That was fine but I wished there had been a small refrigerator in the room. They said it was too small for a refrigerator. But I found out later I could have kept food in their large refrigerator which was behind a locked door.

The staff were nice and friendly. No elevator.

The room and hotel were very clean and well appointed. The only issue is that of parking while visiting Calistoga.

Loved having our own personal outdoor hottub and the outdoor movie theater was a bonus

Courtesy. Pool (despite what I said below). Hot tub. Balcony in room. Fast thinking employees that gave us a different room. Pool temperature. Supposedly heated at 80 degrees. It wasn't heated at all. The 2 for 1 happy hour was unavailable on Tuesday despite website indicating it was open 7 days a week. The "courtyard view" did not exist. And there was no courtyard view from ANY room at the hotel.

The front desk employees so friendly, even though we had to leave early in the morning they left us a bag of muffins and fruit. So thoughtful. And the pool was amazing, lots of happy guests. No elevator, but I understand its an older building

It was a light breakfast. The parking was challenging but I did appreciate the location.

Great location and lovely room. Very spacious. A bonus is Robert’s Tropical Table next door. Delicious cocktails and tasty bites.

I have stayed at this property before and the staff, as always, was friendly, courteous, and accommodating. The pool and hot tubs were great as always, and its central location was really handy. You can walk all the way to Buster's Barbeque or take a left and go to the Calistoga Cremery or Cala Foods.

I had a lovely stay at the Mount View Hotel in Calistoga. The property has so much charm and character, and the location is perfect for exploring downtown Calistoga on foot. The staff was welcoming and made me feel right at home. The room was comfortable, and the peaceful atmosphere made for a relaxing getaway. If you're looking for a cozy place with historic charm in the heart of wine country, I would definitely recommend staying here.

Walkable around town, pool hot tub always open I left a few crumbs on the bedside table on a napkin, came back after a few hours and ants had covered the table, all over the floor, in my computer, on my clothes

The pool area was not the cleanest and the outdoor bar/movie theatre was loud, if you had a room facing it, but it was not open late. Otherwise, the hotel was very quiet and comfortable. The staff were amazingly helpful and courteous. I would definitely recommend.

Enjoy the place and the room was nice and clean

It was walking distance to many eateries and activities

Mount View hit all our expectations: great location, comfortable, good pool & big hot tub. We loved the character & local vibe, would stay again for sure.
