The grounds of the property were spectacular. Beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable stay. My wife and I enjoyed the grass tennis court and swimming pool. We cannot wait to come back and stay again. There was literally nothing that my wife and I didn’t like except having to leave when our stay ended.

What a fascinating property, remodeled old maternity hospital, (locals called it the old haunted hospital). So well appointed, great complimentary breakfast. Beautiful grounds with pool, fire pit, tennis court. Little pricey but guess you get what you pay for and this is a really great property.

The Francis House is fabulous! The grounds, the decor-beautiful and spotless. Breakfast is prepared and presented each morning by an attentive team led by Nelva, and delicious! Deacon and Robert ensured every detail was attended to, including information on restaurants and vineyards, even assisting in reservations. We look forward to returning soon! Nothing not to like

Great looking property. We enjoyed using the tennis court and pool. Breakfast was tasty! Robert graciously booked wine tastings and dinner reservations. I liked everything!

Robert went way beyond the “ call of duty” to make our stay excellent! Warm, friendly and engaged in the property he so proudly manages. All good, no problems.

Breakfast each morning was not only included, but also absolutely delicious -a perfect way to start the day. The attention to detail throughout the house really stood out, from the elegant decor to thoughtful touches like a Dyson blow dryer (wish I had known -I wouldn’t have packed mine!)

The most elegant Bed & Breakfast we have ever had the pleasure to stay in. The owners are friendly & offer an 'above & beyond' experience: gourmet breakfast, evenings by the fire pit, heated pool and infrared sauna, tennis court, and beautiful bedrooms. Nothing! We loved everything :-)

The house and property are absolutely gorgeous. Hosts Dina and Rich went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We were disappointed the sauna was closed.
