The Bergson, BW Signature Collection

The front desk staff were rarely available and there were no other means to get in touch with anyone. I’ve stayed at this hotel before and it has declined since being bought by Best Western. Our shower had faulty water control (would drift to scalding hot), bed linens were well worn, breakfast has been slimmed down and is delivered to your room rather than the buffet in the past, etc

Great location and clean rooms will definitely stay there again

Outstanding Property and Staff

Its location in Calistoga made it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer. We decided to splurge on some local experiences and even dined at a Michelin-rated restaurant in St. Helena, which was just a short drive away. The property has limited parking, but there seemed to be enough spaces for all the guests. We had no trouble finding parking, even when we returned late in the evening. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, even offering us a couple of cookies when we arrived. We also appreciated the complimentary coffee and tea available in the lobby. Overall, we had an amazing stay. The property was comfortable, conveniently located, and made for a wonderful weekend in Napa Valley. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect gateway with clean room and lovely staff.

Only needed improvement would be Breakfast. Earliest breakfast was 8:15 AM which is too late if you are traveling that day. They were helpful by giving us some items the night before.

We loved our stay at Bergson Hotel. When we arrived we were greeted by a friendly & helpful staff along with a yummy cookie. I loved how close the hotel was to downtown Calistoga & the shops and restaurants. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable with nice linens. One of my favorite features of this hotel is the breakfast that was brought to our room. The muffins, fresh berries, juice, eggs, were so delicious. If we wanted a bigger breakfast we could had added items to our order. I liked the greenery & trees and nice little tables to sit where we enjoyed our breakfast. I would definitely come back to Bergson Hotel.

Breakfast was good and delivered to room as requested! Bed/ mattress lumpy uncomfortable! My second stay in 3 years and both stays the same problem with mattress's!

Clean, quiet and beautiful room. Comfortable bed. Perfect rest after a long road trip.

The dead bolt on my door didn’t work. I told 3 different staff members (all said they’d make a note of it) and finally the manager. I could not have been the only person reporting this. I woke up frightened as I must have been anxious someone opened the door during the night. When the shower was on, the floor was so slippery I did not dare to take a step. I reported this to the manager. Again, this couldn’t have been the first time she heard this. It was extremely dangerous to shower. Please tell staff to inform guests where they are to wait for the shuttle. We were at the wrong place and it drove on by.

Great spot. Hot tub didn’t work. Door was tough to close. Fab in bathroom was useless. Whole place heated up from the shower steam

We selected a room with a patio. The patio was not inviting - it was dark and was a back area with several air conditioners located there. It was not inviting at all. Thankfully there were outdoor tables outside the main office, where we could enjoy our breakfast the hotel provided.

It felt luxurious, from the bed linens to the complimentary breakfast, L’Occitane bath products, and pretty little patio. Loved it all. Nothing. Wish we’d have arrived sooner and stayed a day longer!

Gorgeous room with a delicious breakfast! My only complaint was the tv didn’t have many channels. Would have loved to be able to stream from my personal device.
