Great place to stay while visiting Cambria.

Check in was unremarkable. No friendly welcome with information about the property or area. The room was not the cleanest, stains on the carpet dusty. Would not stay here again.
-
Great place to stay for a night - lovely location across from the beach and nice spacious room.

We would recommend and would stay here again. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Charming exterior. Cosy fake fireplace. Good bed. Perfect access to beach walk and casual restaurant.
-
Very nice room. Walking distance to a few restaurants and the beach across the street. Very nice hot tub and fireplace which was wonderful in the evening.
-
Comfortable beds and clean.

Ok hotel with a great location. Staff are to the point and not that helpful. Rooms are dated and carpets are full of stains of dog pee. Swimming pool was under construction while we were staying there. There was no room service available and no breakfast available.

Very thin walls. I can hear my neighbors allll night enjoying their romantic evening. I could hear every sneeze, snore and suitcase being unzipped so I did not get much sleep. But it's a beautiful location and they maintain it very well.

Great stay! Super clean and staff was great!

Great location and a good sized room. Not a big fan of feather pillows or the bedding. The room was hot for me so i had poor sleep. My family was just fine with it. Pool was out of order. Would be great if they had boogie boards or some bikes to rent…but there are few amenities at all.

Cute beachside hotel. No onsite food or drinks but you can find all you need in nearby Cambria a few minutes drive away. Our room was spacious and clean. We got what we paid for and expected. It was a nice experience.

Loved the beach view but the property seemed run down. For instance, the blinds didn’t move properly

Magic atmosphere Cold weather
-
Very clean facilities and across from the beach!

I loved the location and the room but I do not understand how a $200 room became $332 and why did they charge me twice? I could not get through to them by telephone. No smoking section.

When the person finally arrived - there was no apology whatsoever. He checked us in and informed us that the pool was empty/broken. So we get into our room and I was pleasantly surprised by the size and clean bathroom. However, our feet blackened from the dirty carpet and a dirty armchair had been moved to hide a coffee or food stain on the carpet. The fridge and microwave were clean and the bed was comfortable. The sheets were worn, though. I went to the front desk to purchase beverages, they were out of a few offered. There was a couple asking to switch rooms because theirs smelled bad and the WiFi wasn't reaching them. No breakfast, as advertised. No stir sticks for coffee? "I guess we're out" My daughter and I still enjoyed our stay. The fireplace was nice and we got a good shower in. It's directly across the local road to the ocean. The FogCatcher in need to lower the price, lower expectations, shampoo the carpets, and up their standards.

We had the full ocean view room and to hesr the ocean in the night was so relaxing.

The location is excellent, and we enjoyed our stay in Cambria, but the hotel did not meet expectations for a property costing over $400 per night. Our room (806) had a noticeable dog-urine odor and significant stains throughout the carpet. The front-desk staff were also not particularly welcoming or customer-friendly. In addition, the hotel’s own pamphlet stated that tea service was available until 11:00 p.m., but when we went at 7:00 p.m., we were told it had ended at noon. These details may seem minor individually, but together they made the experience feel overpriced and disappointing. The location is great, but at this price point, I expected much better cleanliness, service, and attention to detail.

Just enough for one night but in need of a bit of love and care.

room was very musty and didn't feel very clean
