Nice hotel to stay while traveling with my dog.

Hotel was fine for my trip. I didn’t spend much time there. The WiFi was a bit spotty, and the beds weren’t super comfortable. The hotel is in need of updates; there were some spots on the tub/bathroom floor that showed they did some maintenance that wasn’t holding up well. Staff was fine, no issues really. The price was right.

We were traveling from Virginia to New Concord Ohio to my parents farm. We wanted to check in at 2pm, not to go to the room just to have the key because not sure what time that night we would get back. The woman at the desk said ok however we will charge you 30.00 to do that. I said no now it will be a late check in. Later that night the man at the desk apologized and said she was a new employee. He had us on the third floor and mentioned the roof was going to be worked on is that a problem and I said yes so he put us on the second floor in a suite at no extra cost. It started out rough however probably one of our nicest stays in a hotel. So after our 3 nights, yes I would recommend this hotel.

This was just an overnight stay and I just needed a clean room a clean room and a comfortable bed. I had both. All 3 occurred.

Facility was very clean and well kept. The room and bathroom was spotless. The staff was very cordial and professional and the service was excellent.

Painting was going on which influenced my review but not our visit. In fact this was the best Microtel we have stayed at. The main reason was our bathroom; not only did it have a walk in shower with a seat, the sink had a counter around it for personal items.This has bothered me in other locations as there was no counter or shelf to place things. This was labelled as a handicapped room and also had sturdy grab bars which I appreciated.

The people that run the hotel are very friendly and helpful. We stayed at one of their smaller rooms for 2 days and the room had everything we needed including a refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast had a mixture of hot and cold items. No.
