Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Columbus Canal Winchester

Very good

Stayed two nights. Arrived back late in the day the first night, to find the room had not been cleaned. Had to go down to the front desk to get clean towels.

Breakfast was also disappointing. Trash continued to pile up throughout the area, while only one staff member appeared to be on duty and was trying to manage everything on their own. I felt bad for the employee because it was obvious they were doing the best they could without adequate staffing or support. As a Marriott Bonvoy member, I’ve stayed at Fairfield properties before and have never experienced this level of service. This stay did not meet the standards I’ve come to expect from the Marriott brand. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not return to this property.

Breakfast was good, room was clean. Ice machines not working. Seemed no one at front desk most of the time. I have yet to receive my $40 deposit credit. Case # 9270830070.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and well stocked. Location convenient to highwAy, downtown and shopping!!

Great as usual staff was great

It’s was very clean set up with lots of places to sit and talk at. The front desk was very nice at check in. Close to my aunts house who I was there visiting with. Nice a quiet never heard a sound in the hallway. Bed was great best sleep in a hotel/Motel I have gotten. Would stay again if I ever get up that way again. There was nothing to say bad about it.

It was great, only negative was no ice machines were working when I was there.

I went to the desk twice for fresh towels. On the second trip, I requested towels, paper products and hand soap. I personally bought Clorox wipes and used the laundry bag for the trash. I’m prepared to clean up after myself, I’m not happy to pay the money to do so. The morning coffee was good….that says it all. Marriot needs to put a pause on the Fairfield establishment until they address the management and staff issues.

The staff was excellent!!! Check in was fast. When I went to have breakfast at 9:15 on a Sunday, there was basically no eggs, bacon, or sausage. The only ice machine that was working was on the first floor. The AC leaked all over the floor making the carpet very wet.

Unfortunately, the water heater broke and there was no hot water in the bldg. Most it would get was luke warm. Since it was the holiday weekend there was a delay in getting it fixed. We received a discount but most patrons left. And if we didn't have only one night left, we would have as well. Other than that it was a nice hotel.

Great room and great staff! The breakfast options could have been better as I went at 8:30 and there were no eggs left with breakfast lasting until 10 am.

Room was good, need a nightlight in the bathroom, aid was very humid, nothing would dry and clothes were damp. Coffee service not well maintained. Breakfast just passable
