If you're looking for a vintage-vibe, this is definitely the place to stay. '50s style motel off the main drag. Quiet location. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, sweet, and attentive during check-in and check-out. The evening maintenance employee was helpful but didn't relocate us when we showed him our door didn't seal tightly at the bottom. The bar/restaurant looked fun, but we didn't visit it. With some major renovations/upgrades, this place could be so hot! Maintain the vintage feel, but with fresh windows/doors and linens. We stayed one night and the room provided us exactly what we needed at an affordable price.

Great stay and location! Room smelled a bit musty, but the front desk was very accommodating and maintenance come fix/clean the a/c unit and it smelled wonderful.

Our favorite stay cation. At least once a year. All the staff especially Kiki at the bar, was so friendly and fun. Julie too. Love the live music at night.

It was very convenient and the ac was ice cold The beds were very uncomfortable. The springs squeaked every time you turned over and stuck in my back or side during the night. The walkways, railings and staircases need a good power washing and sprucing up. There was dog poop on the 2nd floor walkway when we arrived and still there when we left. Also no one was on property when we checked in. I received an email about that at 3:10 the day of check in so I didn’t even realize I got it.

Disappointed that the Tiki Bar closed early. Can’t rate the staff. Never saw anyone. Picked up and dropped off my key via a lockbox since they don’t have regular lobby hours like most hotels. Room was clean. Shower clean. Sinks were clean. Micro-sized TV. Bed was uncomfortable. AC wasn’t on in the room so it was hot and stuffy but it did quickly cool down on the lowest setting. Room smelled like mildew and cleaner. Quiet area. Pool area looked nice. speaking honestly, I would not book again.

The woman upfront is amazing. The room had stains on sheets and pillows. It was so loud at night time nowhere does it say that on the evenings it will be super loud they should give you a heads up. I ended up reserving a hotel and paying for two nights and I did not stay even one..

one of my favorite places... tiki bar, live music, staff, food and drink... and walkable to many locations

A guy that came from a short distance opened a lockbox and gave us our room key- for upstairs! I said that my wife was on a cane and couldn’t climb stairs, (no elevator- at a resort!) but he kind of blew me off. It took nearly half an hour to get my wife up the stairs. The lighting was bad in room as well. I had nothing from my Reservation or arrival paperwork to tell me when checkout was so I just figured it was 11 am.

The location was close to downtown It’s old, the room smells like mold, the beds were awful, the rooms let all the noise from outside in. The resort pool doesn’t allow you to bring down drinks from your room, they must be purchased at the bar. The bar was trashy, loud, and had a lot of smoking. The office has limited hours and they were closed shortly after our 4 pm check in so no response to the calls for a cot for the room for our son. 1 star hotel at best
