Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Cape Girardeau I-55 by IHG

Most staff members were incredible but we did have a bad experience with one front desk representative while trying to have a lost key replaced. We had a large group staying there while in town for a close family member's funeral. The common area, where breakfast is served, is spacious and was perfect for socializing as a group. The hotel was super thoughtful in giving us a condolence card and offering their help to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Overall our experience was very good.

I had called and confirmed my extended stay and made reservation tk stay an extra night the staff member I spoke to assured me it wasn't a problem and were super nice and helpful. When I checked out I found I was charged twice for a night I already paid for through hotels.com. When I called both hotels.com and the Hotel they assured me they would look into the matter and I have still no resolution on this matter. The hotel is great and staff is welcoming but be careful when making reservation changes.

I liked being close to great restaurants! The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Food staff could have been more friendly. There weren't a lot of options for hot breakfast. No bacon just a lot of sausage and the fruit has a lot of bad brown spots on it. Previous holiday inn stays had waffles, bacon, etc basically like a buffet.

The free cookies were gone in less than five minutes, should probably make several batches. The breakfast was gone before 8. The staff was very nice and helpful, too was clean and organized. Pool was warm and relaxing.

The room was very spacious and great water pressure. Staff very kind to us, the breakfast was great as well

The jetted tub in the king suite was nice and bed was very comfortable. The breakfast had a variety of choices. The location is great for a variety of different types of restaurants and places to shop. NA

Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Shower had excellent water pressure and consistent temperature. Breakfast was good and had many options.

Everything staff was friendly rooms were clean and pool and everything was very nice Nothing

The hotel was clean. We had children who where in the room above us that were running and jumping all night long. We called and complained but it just made it worse. When we told the manager in the morning all she keep saying is I'm sorry there is some coffee you can take with you. I'm sorry I paid 200 for a room I expect to get some sleep and not have to listen to children all night.

Good location, nice entrance, courteous staff Toilet in room 200 not functioning properly, blinds control broken, halls hot, lots of noise and people jumping around in room 300, lasted till like 2 am…very rude
