Room was right across from the beach and it was clean and looked updated. The A/C in the room worked great. The location was convenient to everything. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Beach passes, umbrella and chairs were included. They also offered a golf cart shuttle service to downtown Cape May if you didn't want to move your car. The beach was wonderful, people were respectful and I didn't smell one cigarette the entire day while sitting on the beach. It was very costly for 2 nights for the type of accommodations. It is referred to as a resort, but reminded me more of a motel with open-air stairwells and open-air walkways to each door. You also have an open, shared balcony with your neighbors. Our mattresses were uncomfortable and very noisy every time you moved to turn over, definitely not what I expected for the price. The pool and parking areas are pretty small for a resort as well. For first timers to Cape May, NJ, you have to pay a fee per-person to enter certain beaches unless your resort provides passes, and some beaches open and close at certain times. New Jersey's gas stations are ALL full service so you may not pump your own gas.

I liked the proximity to the beach and main street along the ocean with restaurants. They also offer beach chairs and umbrella for the pool and there is a good restaurant at the hotel. They also offer a car service but we didnt' use it. There is a pool on site which is decent, but not as luxurious looking as the photos on the site. I didn't like being nickle and dimed for early arrival (by 2 hours), or the fact that check in not until 4 and then check out is at 11, and we only have use of the beach until 12, and then they basically kick you out of the facilities, and the parking lot. If I arrive at 4, more than half of the day is gone at this point, and leaving by 12, is not a full stay - so if you want to continue to enjoy the beach, you have to pay for the beach, and pay for parking separately on the street. Just didn't appreciate that nickle and dime approach as most hotels/resorts allow you to at least use the amenities after you vacate the room (until at least 4pm check in time would have been ideal, to make it a full 24 hour stay, and still allow enough time to clean the rooms). I also didn't like that while I realized we picked the room without the ocean view, it literally faced the stairwell, and people kept peeking into our room, and if we kept the curtains completely shut, it was very dark in the room.

1-Parking available and allowed if you come in early. 2-Rooms are comfortable and well furnished. In line with what you’d expect for the price. 1- The room was not well vacuumed when we checked, as there was sand in many places, such as over the coffee table and on the floor. 2- The hotel offers beach tags and an umbrella, included in the price. If you arrive early to take advantage of the day at the beach you need to do an "early check-in" that has a $50 additional charge, if you buy the beach tags yourself, the cost $10 ea. Additionally, you need to return the ID bracelets by check-out (11 AM), so it limits the ability to use.

Great location. Clean rooms Our balcony was practically in the bar

The room was updated and very clean. We had everything we needed and the air conditioning worked well. We were a little put out by the noise of people outside our door. The small patio was fantastic. The restaurant on property is fun too.

The room was clean, even on the ground level it felt private because the bed/sleeping area were in the back of the room. You cannot beat the location and all the included amenities.

Amazing ocean view, clean room, and helpful staff. Such a great place to stay if you want to be close to the beach.

We had a great time at the Montreal Resort. Harry’s Bar and the dueling pianos were a blast! The room was pricey and free coffee in the morning would have been a nice offering.

Very close to the beach. Love the shuttle option. Woohoo to the pool

Pretty blue cabinets w/ granite counters &dishwasher. We had small fridge w microwave on top. No tablr or lounges because no room in front...inches from wall. 1 queen bed. Never heard of this in this "level" hotel... Usually 2 queens or king. Saggy hard, unforgettable &;small for 2 adults moving around trying to find comfort. Needed 4 pillows each to cushion bed Not a high or even mid range experience AT ALL. Other rooms may have their place (BUT LeMerFAR superior for another $100) Restaurant decent, good drinks, serving size, delicious fries. Poolside service almost non existent. Had to go up 3 × ask for helo, but only steps from pool Staff kind/patient w/ our frustration but no offer for new room or credit. 1350 FOR DAYS IN A STRORAGE ROOM IS SHAMEFUL. Will pursue partial credit

We requested early check in ($50 Fred) to use the beach and amenities. It took a while to get the food delivered to the beach, but it was fine. The room was spacious enough for 5 of us. We went to Harry’s for dinner, and we loved it!

The location was great. The amenities (pool, towels, beach chairs, etc.) were convenient. The pullout bed was not great but ok for kids. Parking was ok but not having an assigned spot made it difficult to be close to your room.

The property was clean and ideally located. They hold firm to the 4pm check-in which is fine except that at 4pm there is a long line of people waiting to check-in or get their rooms. With a 4pm check-in and 11am checkout that does not leave much time to make use of the amenities. The room was nice but the balcony door had no lock and is not a private balcony so people can easily walk back and forth. The hotel stresses that you will be charged if your pool bracelet and beach pass are not returned. I checked out before 9am yet began getting text messages telling me I was going to be charged for not checking out starting at 10:30. After responding that I had checked out, I was then told I would be charged for not returning the bracelet and beach pass. After finally calling to remind them that all was returned at checkout the matter was finally settled. While I wouldn’t say my experience was bad, I would say that there were stressful elements that were unnecessary.
