The Heritage Inn

Close to beach and walkable to the square They said it’s no smoking. But a guest was chain smoking outside his room. They could use hooks outside the rooms for towels.

Unfortunately because it is centrally located it was noisy very early in the am with trucks delivering and with trash pick up at the beach which started at 630am.

The location and parking were excellent Unfortunately there were bed bugs and I left completely bitten. Also the door did not lock properly

The beds were a full size not a queen.

Not having an elevator

Location is the best thing about the property; also, the room was clean and beds comfortable. Updated fridge area and bath were good Booking.com confirmed a room with a view of the promenade- that is not what I received. My room was the last room in a long corridor at the back of the inn. My view out the window was a white wall on the other side of the hallway. The hotel was full so there was no other room available. They told me the reservation came through as just a 2 queen bedded room, no mention of a promenade view. Housekeeping wasn’t the best either.

Right across the street from the beach. Great ocean view. Rooms cleaned daily. Close to everything. Great location. Pool always cleaned. Staff very laid back. I do wish the pool was bigger but it did its job. I didn't like the coffee pot it wasn't working properly. Remote was sticky.

The location was perfect as my friends were going to be on the beach near Convention Hall. Free parking is a plus especially in Cape May. The noise in the morning with the garage trucks. The rooms were spotless but the cleaning product being used was over bearing.

It was in a great location if you want ot be in the middle of everything

Very close to the beach and restaurants. The pool was nice. Staff did a nice job cleaning everyday. Would be nice to have an updated smart TV to log into apps for the kids. Also, some USB plugs for charging newer devices would be nice.

Hotel was close to beach entrance and stores! Restaurants were within walking distance.

Easy to get to beaches, shopping , restaurants etc. Had to walk because once you find a good parking spot you don’t want to give it up. No elevator, bad parking. Very small pool and only 4 lounge chairs which small 4 people saved all day. Street noise at night.

Absolutely the best location in Cape May, the staff was wonderful.

Proximity to beach and to Congress Hall and Washington St Mall is excellent. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable.

The property is very clean…walkways…pool…balcony and rooms! Staff were super friendly and helpful. The only complaint might have been that the rooftop lounge area could have been swept off and cleaned one of the days. We were only there for a few days or so, and it was clean the other days. There is a little strip mall, also clean, between our hotel and the ocean. We could still see the ocean from our third floor corner room, and balcony. We walked everywhere. My sister and I really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend The Heritage Inn. Could be more parking. Really no other complaints.

Room was fine, view was fine THERE NEEDS TO BE AN ELEVATOR !!!!! AT LEAST A LIFT FOR BAGGAGE ETC. !!!!!
