We ate at the hotel restaurant for lunch and breakfast. Our meals were great! We sat out on the lovely porch which was nice but they need bigger tables for a party of 4, or smaller plates to fit on the tables. When we made the reservation for a suite it showed a suite with a nice view. We ended up with (what they considered a 2 bedroom suite) basically 2 adjoining rooms looking at a wall and the back of the building next door, with a bathroom in one of the rooms. Overall, we enjoyed our trip and would return.

There was no stress parking. The staff was adequate. The room was small and sparse. No coffee maker nor refrigerator. A refrigerator was an extra charge. While I do understand summer pricing is on the high side, I feel that we should have received more amenities for the room cost.

Love it here! Will go back!

Bellhop was kind& pretty close by walking to the beach. We definitely won't stay here again.

BUT Very much in need of upkeep.musty mildew smell throughout hotel. Everything you touch feels sticky wet. The banisters, the bar, doors.Shower had no pressure and either you froze or were getting scalded, no happy medium. Bathroom door broken and did not close. 1 bath towel and you can’t call down 4 flights of stairs because there isn’t a phone in the room. The elevator is only operated on request by staff. The pool is nice but at 6pm they close it. It’s a magnificent inn with abundant history but it is pricey and desperately needs care.

Breakfast was good but they touted fresh-baked cinnamon rolls but there were none. Parking was convenient and free. Building was beautifully restored.

The inn reminds me of a converted brownstone. The room we stayed in was okay. It had a lot of light, large bed, normal bathroom. But it didn’t have a full length mirror even though it had plenty of wall space for that. It also looked like the walls were painted over multiple times- like a ny city apartment. I enjoyed the inn, it had a restaurant with live music and a mini convenient store that was always open by the front desk. The location is central to the beach and the Washington street mall. I just think the price is expensive for what you are getting- but it’s what all the hotels are charging- so they are in the range. Staff was extremely helpful and nice. One of the hostesses we wound up seeing the next day working in the fudge shop. Quaint town.

We were very disappointed in our room. It had a bed, small crappy dresser, side tables next to the bed that were the size of cup saucers that barely fit your cell phone, 2 chairs that was old and uncomfortable, the bathroom sink drained VERY slow and we supposedly had a ocean view which the view was mostly roof tops and ocean was way in the distance. We paid good money for this room; definitely not what we expected. We noticed the other rooms next to us had nicer chairs or a small love sofa and better side tables. We asked those occupants how much their 2 person room cost and it was the same as ours. We booked in advance and were there to check in when scheduled to (actually 30 min. Earlier). We told the front desk and all they had to say was: “sorry about that”!

Our room was cleaned every day with fresh luxurious towels. The inn is cozy and could use a little maintenance TLC, but I'm sure it comes in the off season. We will definitely go back!

Room was very small. High prices.

Location Paid extra for refrigerator

The location is great. Plenty of access to food, shops, beach, and entertainment. The staff was friendly and hospitable. The Ocean7 restaurant has great food and bartenders have great personalities. The views from the various porches allow you to take in the scenery.
