We had a balcony room with a view of the pacific coast. Watched a beautiful sunset from the privacy of our own room. Restaurant on-site was also a treat. Beautiful facility overlooking the ocean and great food. Will definitely stay at the hotel on any future trips to Carmel.

A unique property with exceptional views and natural surroundings. Well kept greenery, and grounds. Though it is a higher-end hotel, they left us without power from early evening into the late morning next day, so no heating (and you need it in the Carmel area even during the summer). The reception-desk staff was not forthcoming addressing our lack of morning coffee and power, so I did not feel really appreciated. Otherwise happy we had a chance to spend a few nights there. Memorable.

Super nice place. Very quiet and well maintained. We loved our stay. Our balcony looked over the ocean and we had a kitchen which worked out great for us. Really a special experience.

Stunning views and a wonderful location

Views are spectacular The rooms are not sound or vibration insulated, so when a room below or adjoining has movement within (just normal walking), the sound and movement are carried into the surrounding rooms. Our bed would shake from 12am-1:30am until people settled down for the night, making it impossible for us to sleep. Amenities are rudimentary, at best.

Nice hotel and staff with beautiful views but a bit overpriced for their amenities and small pool area.

Beautiful views!

Great staff, amazing views, & beautiful property.
-
Simply gorgeous views! Landscapping at the hotel is also next level and fantastic! Hotel was more than adequately updated for us. :)
-
view with a balcony. The room was very quiet and self parking was easy. The restaurant on site is excellent!

The hotel has a great view, which was definitely the highlight of the stay. Unfortunately, the property and rooms feel very dated and in need of a significant refresh. Our room also had an unpleasant smell that made it feel less comfortable. The food was okay, and the service was fine, but neither stood out. Overall, despite the beautiful setting, the condition of the hotel made the experience disappointing, and I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

The view is the only good thing.... Service standards were awful... and whilst mistakes happen it was the attitude that ruined it for us...

Room had minimal furniture. Could use another nightstand or something to put things on. Perhaps a small sofa to watch the TV on. The only options were a little table with chairs or sitting on the two queen beds. Perhaps a dresser by the closet.

Beautiful grounds, restaurant and lounge area. Rooms were slightly dated.

Beautiful location
-
Could have been better- size of a one bedroom townhouse was very small at less than 800 sq ft

Just stunning
-
Fantastic views. Helpful staff. Terrific restaurant. Lovely common room with two fireplaces and live music. We’ll be back!
